Week 3 Standouts: Five Running Backs Who Impressed

He sees things develop, finds the crease, and has the quickness to get through it before it closes. Once he gets into space, he's slippery and can make guys miss without losing much speed. He only needed 15 carries to put up 130 yards and 2 TDs on the ground. He plays with good pad level, absorbs contact well, and does a nice job keeping his legs moving to pick up extra yards. He finished the night with 142 rushing yards and 2 TDs and gave the offense a physical presence out of the backfield. He can bounce the ball outside when the lane is there, and I like that he doesn't spend much time dancing around in the backfield. He gets north and south, hits the opening, and has the speed to chew up yardage quickly. He's got quick feet, changes direction well, and can make defenders miss without slowing himself down. He comes from a Wing-T offense where touches can get spread around, but he's been a bright spot and makes the most of his opportunities. He's a strong runner with a good frame, and you could see the work he's put in the weight room paying off. He was breaking tackles, running through contact, and churning out tough yards.
