We dove into what we feel are some of the top-tier prospects that are leading the pack in North Dakota's 2028 class thus far just past the midseason point of the season. Some of these are highly valued from a rankings perspective, and others are surely ones that we feel have growing value in the class.

Regardless of what side of the ball you see Blaise on tape, you can be assured that this young man is a playmaker with his football IQ. In his game against Wahpeton, he had an interception that showed off his vision in pass coverage as he's a linebacker that really balanced on what he can give you from a skillsets perspective in the pass versus run game. He shows you how effective he is in the open field as one that can stretch the field on short passes and take it the distance. He shows off his agility quickly off the top of his route which that translates to both sides of the ball with Blaise. I saw him over the summer getting reps at the UND Flagship on defense, but I feel he's a swiss army knife that could play on either side of the ball when it comes ot the next-level.

Leo sits as our WR3 in the 2028 class but this kid shows off as a weapon in the return game for Williston, which shows quickly as you load up his Week 5 tape. He shows off great downfield vison and speed that is evident especially around the edges of the field. One thing that is consistent for Leo on tape, is this young has the ability to flip the field which he shows off in his touchdown reception on play #2 on tape as again, that vision skillset should show off very vividly to those college coaches out there. Leo is yet another Coyotes wide receiver that surely has all the tools to play scholarship football at the next-level.

You always want to find a linebacker that can play downhill, and that is what you get out of Kindred 2028 [player_tooltip player_id='2045268' first='Jeremy' last='Knight'] almost immediately on tape. I love how explosive Jeremy is pre-snap identifiying the inside gap and utilizing his throttle and motor to get quickly into the backfield. He also shows off as a middle linebacker that can from sideline to sideline as well. Jeremey shows off the wirey hands too to get off blocks in the run game. Surely one that could move up in our overall rankings based on what we have seen thus in the 2026 season.

We have Josh rated as our DB1 in the 2028 North Dakota class, but you could surely make an argument that this young man could play on either side of the ball at the next-level. If you look at his catch difficulty as a wide receiver that should tell you what you need to see as what we saw from Week 1, Josh shows excellent hands in tight windows. Josh is also instinctive after the catch at his 6'3 185 pound frame as you don't see too many wide receivers that can move with that change of direction at his size in the Dakotas. Surely one that Division 1 schools should target this summer in my eyes.

A Prep Redzone Dakotas Showcase alum that has really boosted his speed in the Minot backfield thus far this season, has been [player_tooltip player_id='1614496' first='Cullen' last='Sisco']. The 5'9 170 pounder is a east-west runner in the inside box that shows off quick explosive traits that I feel is typically one man away from ripping off a bigger run and stretching those 10+ yard gains into 20 plus based on what we see on tape. Cullen is one that I feel might be under the radar in our top 50 in the 2028 North Dakota class that is moving surely the needle with his effectiveness on tape.

Camden is one that right now we have undevalued in our 2028 North Dakota rankings, but without a doubt will see his stock rise by our next rankings update after the season. He shows off in the Richardton-Taylor receiving core that is one that you always need to circle of where he is on the field, as especially on deep routes he is one that can make plays with his athleticisim he has. Camden is another one that is pretty balanced with what you see from a skillsets perspective on boht sides of the ball, as the defensive side of the ball might have a slight edge at the moment, but its really close. He's got size that surely is a mismatch to watch for in the 9-man game.
