He's an effortless thrower with exceptional mechanics. The ball jumps out of his hands and he shows pinpoint accuracy. Jake makes every throw you want to see and can dot the field with ease. He's a quick processor and gets to his second and third reads with ease. An under rated aspect to his game is his athleticism. He moves well, shows good lateral quickness and runs a 4.64 at the Under Armour camp this past spring. That mobility translates to the field as he does a good job of escaping pressure and biding additional time. He is slippery in coverage and separates with ease. He tracks the ball well, is strong at the catch point, and has strong hands. He has great hip fluidity and is buttery smooth in and out of his breaks. He's a receiver who is being slept on in recruiting, and he is a prospect that will be a Power Four starter. Cash is a high level prospect, and his recruitment should be picking up. He is a versatile receiver who can line up at the boundary or slide into the slot if needed. He's asked to be a two way performer, and as a running back, he shows good vision and has the lateral quickness needed. He shows good contact balance and is a runner who brings juice to the offense. His home is as a backer, and he does a good job of shedding his blocks and finding his way to the ball. He has a good frame and will continue to add mass to it. He's a prime candidate to be a transfer up prospect and jumping up a level due to his high ceiling. He's found his home as a safety and he shows great range and closing speed. He tracks the ball well and does a good job of eliminating big plays. Against Layton, he made a big special teams play with a punt block return for touchdown. He has a great ceiling and can make an impact on defense and on special teams.
