Shaver, at a verified 5110 191, has been known as a workhorse type of back in the past and put up good numbers in 2025 to the tune of 200 carries, 1739 yards and 17 touchdowns. He is currently on his way to another year of big time production for his program and in his league. After three weeks, Shaver accumulated 684 yards on 43 carries and 12 touchdowns with 5 2-point conversions, which translates into 82 points and an easy early season lead in the scoring column. Shaver shows vision downfield allowing him to navigate traffic, good patience and feet at the line of scrimmage, and deliberation in his decision making. Division III and NAIA programs have likely been keeping a close eye on his progress since last season.

Mitchell is putting up good production over a high volume of touches over the course of the first three weeks. His statistical eye opener came in week one against Jacksonville (IL) where he rushed for 255 yards on 39 carries for 4 touchdowns, and added 28 yards on 3 receptions in the passing game. Overall, Mitchell has 515 yards on 87 carries, 161 yards on 7 receptions, 10 rushing touchdowns, 2 receiving touchdowns. Mitchell is a tough runner that has physicality on contact, balance, and racks up yards after the first hit. He is a multi-use tailback that will get the Division III/NAIA looks going into NSD.

Quarterback for his program that does plenty of damage on the ground. Rushed for 348 yards after 3 games, including a 194 yard - 4 TD performance on the ground in Week 1. Has 9 rushing touchdowns on the year to go with 3 touchdowns passing and 2 2-point conversions. Good looking prospect physically on tape that presents a threat in both designed run and scramble drill situations in his league. Has some explosion play scores where he is able to outleg or outphysical defenders. Also plays defense and takes care of business in the classroom with a reported 4.5gpa. Worth a look as a potential defensive developmental prospect for programs at the next level.

Yates put up huge numbers in Week 1 against Rockwood Summit to set a high floor on his 2026 senior campaign - 60 yards off 19 carries and a touchdown on the ground - 220 yards on 8 receptions and 4 touchdowns in the passing game. He also does work in the return game as well. On the year, he has 9 touchdowns, 4 on the ground, 4 through the air, and 1 off an 88 yard kick return. Add in a pair of 2-point conversions. Though undersized, Yates has some juice to him, can make defenders miss in space with vision and wiggle, and enough speed to be a threat to finish plays to the house. He is an all purpose back that coaches want to get the ball to in space and let him work. We currently have Yates as one of the top Division III prospects in the State of Missouri. Some lower level programs have jumped on board.

The highest scoring underclassman in the STL area is the current #1 ranked tailback in the Class of 2028, Cam Sharp. Able to observe Sharp against Cardinal Ritter, Sharp displayed the ability to be dangerous enough to score everytime he touched the football. He does it on the ground and through the air. After three games, Sharp has 55 carries, 380 yards and 7 touchdowns, with 12 receptions, 108 yards and 2 touchdowns in the passing game. He's gone over 100 total yards of offense in every game, and shined the brightest in the biggest game against Ritter, where he scored all three of his rushing scores in the 4th quarter to help complete the comeback from a 16 point halftime defecit. Sharp is going to play Division I ball, he has a handful of offers in his pocket, how high up the ladder he shoots is what to watch for.
