Five Louisiana Teams That Could Make a Jump To My Top 10

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The state of Louisiana has plenty of talent, but one could argue that the top 10 is interchangeable. Here are five teams that didn't make my cut this week, but very well could.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Neville</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Neville is one of the better teams that has yet to make a jump into my top 10, but it is safe to say that this could happen if they continue to dominate the way that many know they will, and many know that they can. One of the better players on this roster is [player_tooltip player_id='489183' first='Parker' last='Robinson'], who is as good as almost any quarterback in the state of Louisiana. In fact, he finished the game just short of 300 yards, and he also finished the game with five touchdowns. This team has a lot of juice left to squeeze, which leads me to believe they could be one of the teams to make that jump.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">St. Thomas More</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>St. Thomas More pulled off a huge win against Catholic BR, which was a team that I had inside the top five, although they lost big to Carrollton. I am high on Carrollton, which is why I was okay with it originally, but this proved that either Catholic BR isn't as good as many thought, or St. Thomas More is simply the better team. Either way, St. Thomas More is one of the better teams outside of my top 10, and is one of the teams I am watching closely this week.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Barbe</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Barbe High School is another school that I am high on. I believe that this team is one of the better teams in the entire state, and while many believe that this team is outside of the top 10, and some believe that this team is outside of the top 15, I believe this team is one that is right on the bubble of making the top 10 thanks to the talent that they have. Barbe is a high school program that I am watching closely, and one could thank a guy like Jaden Celestine, although you could also thank [player_tooltip player_id='2227499' first='Jordin' last='Griffin'] and QB Jelandon Gray.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Archbishop Shaw</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Archbishop Shaw has one of the better teams, but it is safe to say that they will need to climb their way back up to the top, as they finished the game against Archbishop Rummel short of the win column. This means that they have the talent, but need to show that one loss won't set them back. There are plenty of talented players on this roster, as some of the ones that stand out to me the most are [player_tooltip player_id='2212778' first='Nasir' last='Parker'], [player_tooltip player_id='2133290' first='Khazz' last='Vaughn'], [player_tooltip player_id='2227481' first='DeJuan' last='Rivera'], and [player_tooltip player_id='934561' first='Rontrae' last='Carter'].</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Calvary Baptist</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Calvary Baptist is the last team on my list that I am watching for my top 10 list, as they are undefeated and are one of the better offensive teams in the state of Georgia. Calvary Baptist's biggest stars include Delancey Street, [player_tooltip player_id='934564' first='Braylun' last='Huglon'], [player_tooltip player_id='2234633' first='Hudson' last='Price'], and [player_tooltip player_id='2234578' first='Ryan' last='Rodgers']. I believe that this is one of the better groups of players, and this could be a team that makes a deep run along the way. Calvary Baptist is by far one of the better sleeper teams, and while many will say they are outside the top 20, these boys could make a run for my top 10.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
