2028 Rankings Hidden Gems: Offense

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">The 2028 class is loaded with emerging talent, and several offensive prospects are beginning to separate themselves as players to watch. In this edition of 2028 Rankings Hidden Gems: Offense, we highlight under-the-radar playmakers who have the talent, production, and upside to make a significant impact as their recruitment continues to develop.</h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">Bryant is an outstanding athlete with a versatile skillset to hold up at either slot receiver or DB. Explosive speed combined with quick twitch gives him an edge whether separating on routes or closing on the ball in coverage. At WR, his acceleration/burst shows up out of his breaks and after the catch. He gets involved in the offense in a variety of ways by attacking the field at all three levels including taking jet sweeps and short screens for big gains. On the defensive side, he's able to mirror routes and stay in phase with great recovery speed and high level ball skills. Displays excellent footwork on both sides giving him a naturally ability to change directions and explode out of his cuts. In four games, he's thrown for 1,393 yards and 14 touchdowns while completing 69% and only throwing one interception on 118 attempts. 6'2” 185 lbs. he's got a great physical profile for the position as a dual threat QB. He's under control and composed in the pocket, standing tall and staying patient as he works through his progression. Shows smooth arm action giving him a clean and repeatable delivery. Highly efficient and accurate to all areas of the field consistently putting the ball in a catchable spot for his receiver. A threat with his legs on both designed runs and scramble plays, showing the ability to escape pressure and make defenders miss in the open field with quick lateral cuts. A true dual-threat with the tools to beat defenses both from the pocket and the move. Plays primarily OT but his size/skillset could translate inside to guard at the college level. Powerful at the POA playing with strong hands and lower body to generate movement. Patient before he initiates contact, he stays balanced and under control allowing him to maintain positional leverage and not lunge. Does a good job reacting to movement, using his hands and angles to force defenders where he wants them to go. Moves opponents off the ball in the run game to open up lanes and keeps a clean pocket in pass protection with active feet to mirror and stay in front. Good initial burst through the first level combined with quick lateral cut ability to avoid contact in tight spaces. Once he gets into open space, he's got the long speed to outrun angles and cap off long runs in the end zone. Flashes good value as a receiver too, showing he can catch the ball comfortably out of the backfield. His skillset is highlighted by his outstanding ball skills. He does a great job establishing positional leverage and using his body to create a path to the football in traffic. Excellent ability to track the ball down field adjusting smoothly to different trajectories and shows strong hands through contact. The ball skills he possesses show up on both sides of the ball with a knack for interceptions when playing DB. He runs well flashing good initial burst off the LOS. He closes cushion early and mixes up tempo to be deceptive as he slips past coverage. He's an extremely reliable target that can win 50/50 jump balls and consistently be a security blanket for the QB.
