The 2027 class has started to show some real production early this season, especially at receiver. He currently leads the state through three games with 390 receiving yards and three touchdowns. At 6-1, 180 pounds, he has a good frame to work with and can give Clearwater a consistent option in the receiving room. The next step for him is continuing to put all of those tools together and becoming one of the more consistent playmakers in the area.

Bynes has been one of the more dependable receivers in this group. He has 386 yards and four touchdowns through three games, but the numbers aren't the only thing that stands out. His route discipline, reliable hands and ability to find open space make him a quarterback-friendly target. He can get down the field when needed, but I really like how consistently he puts himself in position to make a play.

Production rarely lies, and Jacobs has been putting together another strong start after a breakout campaign last season. He has already racked up 364 yards and four touchdowns. The speed is probably the first thing you notice, but he also has good instincts when plays break down and knows how to find space. He's giving North Florida defenses another receiver they're going to have to account for every Friday night.

Purdy is one of the top receivers I'm interested in watching more as the season continues. He brings a solid combination of athletic ability and physical tools, and Lake Wales has plenty of opportunity for him to become a bigger part of what they're doing offensively. The UCF commit is hands down the top player in Polk County.

Jackson forces defenders to respect his speed on every snap. If a corner gets too aggressive, he can beat him over the top. If they back off, he has the ability to take what's underneath and make something happen. His footwork has become more refined, his hands have been dependable and he has shown the ability to create separation. Dunbar has a legitimate big-play option here, and I expect Jackson to have plenty of opportunities to make plays this fall.

Cortinas has put together 345 receiving yards and four touchdowns early on, including an 80-yard reception that really shows the type of big-play ability he brings. He's a smooth, athletic receiver with good speed and does a nice job tracking the football downfield. I also like the burst he shows after the catch. With his speed, academics and early offers from Akron and Wofford, there's a lot here for college programs to continue evaluating.

Connor is a smooth route runner with quick feet and good separation ability. His acceleration makes it tough for defenders to stay attached, and he has already shown he can make plays against quality competition. He's currently inside the top five in receiving yards with 347 yards and four touchdowns. Oakleaf has a key weapon in Connor, and I'll be watching how he continues to handle tougher matchups as the season moves along.

Harvey is off to a hot start with Buchholz football. This kid is electricity and brings instant impact to the offense. He already has four receiving touchdowns this season, and you can see why the coaching staff wants to get the ball in his hands. He has a solid build for a wideout, good speed and the type of playmaking ability that can change a game quickly.

Morrison is a name in the hidden-gem category. At 6-3, he already has the type of frame and hands that give him legitimate upside at receiver. There are still some things he needs to clean up, especially his movement and burst coming out of breaks, but those are areas that can improve with more reps. The physical foundation is there, and continued development could open up a lot more for him.

The 2027 class has started to show some real production early this season, especially at receiver. A few of these guys are putting up big numbers, while others are making their impact in different ways. Here are some of the senior wideouts who have caught my attention early.
