One Breakout Candidate for Each Team in the 2-4A

<p>Week zero is just two weeks away, as the season kicks off on August 28th. In this report, we continue to identify breakout candidates across all Arkansas conferences. Here are those 2026 breakout candidates to watch in 2-4A.</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Bauxite:</h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='2332324' first='Lane' last='Hartwick'] is coming off a strong freshman season, rotating from the defensive line to linebacker. He racked up over 50 tackles for the Miners defense in 2025. Hartwick plays sideline-to-sideline with a mean stroke at the point of attack.</p>   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-x wp-block-embed-x"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/LaneHartwick34/status/2047800091935682701?s=20 </div></figure>    <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Lonoke:</h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='1996333' first='Huck' last='Waddell'] is going to garner attention regarding recruitment this fall, making him a prospect to add to the recruiting board. Waddell is quick off the snap, creating pressure, and can chase down ball carriers. He utilizes his hands well off the snap and gets into the body quickly. Cifuentes is highly experienced and brings the ideal motor and quickness in space for this scheme. He's willing to work to the second level and create running lanes. </p>   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-x wp-block-embed-x"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/RobinC_59 </div></figure>    <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Heber Springs:</h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='2171263' first='Titus' last='Bullington'] is coming off a strong 2025 season where he racked up over 80 tackles. His pre-snap communication has been key to his success. As mentioned before, he's a solid route runner in the short-to-intermediate range as he can create separation from opposing linebackers and give his quarterback a reliable window. He's constantly moving, whether down off the edge or as an off-ball linebacker. Bissett plays with a high motor and can stretch the pocket with his quickness. His athletic ability is evident when attacking vertically and making defenders miss in space. Avey can play off the edge or off-ball linebacker with his quickness and angles when attacking downhill.
