Notable Risers from our 2028 Class Rankings

<p>We have a new updated 2028 Rankings with over 400 kids included, our staff is already pumping out content and more is coming this week. For my first write up on this loaded 2028 class, I wanted to provide context on some notable rankings risers below:</p>    <p class="text-gray-700">We bumped up Woodgrove all star safety [player_tooltip player_id='2043357' first='Dylan' last='Donnelly'] for many reasons, but number 1 in my opinion was how dominant he was when we saw him person. Back at our 7v7 event and our Winter showcase, it was clearer he is one of the best players on the field. He is a fiery competitor who picked off 3 passes as a sophomore, I expect him to be more involved with their passing game as a junior. </p>   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-x wp-block-embed-x"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/Dylan_ZD5/status/1993770918439768254?s=20 </div></figure>     <p class="text-gray-700">We moved up Independence standout [player_tooltip player_id='1695969' first='Jaylen' last='Byers'] into our top 100 cause he's a stud and has added a Hampton offer this offseason. He has been a gamer for two season now with the Cardinals and should get more offers before seasons end. Byers is a very smart defensive back who rarely gets fooled, you can tell by watching his tape how well coached he is. </p>   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-x wp-block-embed-x"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/jaylen_byers/status/2066537822756933926?s=20 </div></figure>     <p class="text-gray-700">Compton is a beast defensive linemen for Warhill who has been trending in the right direction all off-season. Had the privilege of seeing him work during our Spring Showcase, he has a fast get off the snap and using his low leverage to his advantage. </p>   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-x wp-block-embed-x"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/_Kavon_Compton/status/2001494871639486757?s=20 </div></figure>     <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='2143139' first='Dante' last='Bain'] has been a breakout star candidate for Chantilly and he needed a rankings boost. He has quick feet and a deceiving stride that helps he get open against any defense. He tore it up at the FCPS showcase, with over 200 kids on site he was one of the top performers. His rankings boost doesn't just come from that, Bain is expected to be one of the most dynamic receivers in Northern Virginia this fall. </p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Sleep on [player_tooltip player_id='2077771' first='Nick' last='Solomon'] at your own risk, he showed me up close that he was a gamer and he will explode onto the scene this fall. Centreville graduated a lot from their district title squad and Solomon should have an expanded role at receiver. He is a clutch performer he caught the game winning touchdown pass against Westfield with maybe 10 seconds left in the game. </p>   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-x wp-block-embed-x"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/NickSolomon0/status/2069814352656420992?s=20 </div></figure>     <p class="text-gray-700">Lotfi out of McLean High School looks like he could be a dominant receiver for the next two years in Northern Virginia. Coach Cockerham singled him out in our team preview and watching his tape I can see why. He is a 6'2 with some explosion, this could be an offer able prospect before his junior year concludes. </p>
