After the catch, he becomes even more dangerous, making defenders miss in the open field and hitting his top speed for the home run play. Burton's combination of route running, great hands and game breaking athleticism makes him capable of changing the game every opportunity he gets. While his film is somewhat limited, the size, frame and flashes are more than enough to believe he will be a star for Okemos this fall. He possesses tremendous strength, allowing him to plug the middle and anchor at the point of attack, shutting down the middle. He comes off the ball with an explosive first step, firing with a low pad level and uses his power to knock offensive linemen off balance immediately. He plays the game with high football IQ and instincts, showing a great understanding of what offenses are trying to do and diagnosing them quickly. Hunter reads his keys well and does a great job of anticipating where the ball is going, and always puts himself in a position to make the play. He does a great job of coming downhill and filling in the middle, but also shows the speed to chase plays down on the outside and making plays outside of the tackles.
