Hunter is a player I have been very intrigued to watch. The first thing you notice about hunter is he is built to be a physical linebacker. He shows good instincts and an ability to close the gap on running backs very quickly. I am also very impressed with Hunters overall athletic ability as he shows multiple plays where he bits a little on play action but immediately recovers and gets to his area to cover the pass. I expect Hunter to continue his upwards trend as a well rounded linebacker and see a big fall ahead for him.

Hunter put together a solid 2026, but 2026 is shaping up to be his breakout season. He plays the game with high football IQ and instincts, showing a great understanding of what offenses are trying to do and diagnosing them quickly. Hunter reads his keys well and does a great job of anticipating where the ball is going, and always puts himself in a position to make the play. He does a great job of coming downhill and filling in the middle, but also shows the speed to chase plays down on the outside and making plays outside of the tackles. His instincts and athletic range make him an extremely intriguing prospect that could put together a phenomenal 2026!

According to MileSplit, Hunter runs a 12.57 100M dash, which is pretty solid for a high school linebacker. Plus, he was two promising highlights- one at linebacker and one at running back.

Not a whole lot to go off of, but still a promising prospect. Hunter is a Watch List guy for now.
