We took a good look at our updated 2029 North Dakota rankings and looked which prospects moved the needle the most as far as not only rankings spots, but just overall growth from the first time we put them on our radar. These five caught my attention quickly.

Tyreek still has a ways to go from size and frame perspective but one skillset that jumps out quickly is how rangy he is for that size as I feel its more than you would expect with his measurables at the moment. He shows the growing upside to be play some press-man at the cornerback position but another area that Tyreek stands out the most is his angles with his ball tracking ability, as this young man seems to regardless of the size of the WRs he goes up against seems to always be in the pocke to make a play with his hands. He comes up from the watch list to the DB4 in thie 2029 North Dakota class.

I believe this is the third of the Cruchet brothers that I have had on my radar from Central Cass over the last 5-6 years we've been in the Dakotas, as Kellen moves up to our 2029 ranings from our watchlist this August. Kellen doesn't waste time to show you how great his hands can be in high traffic areas. Not to mention the explosiveness this young man has already brewing in the open field is another area that catches the immediate eye-test to Kellen's game. The 5'10 160 pounder surely should have more tape to show us off in this upcoming season with the Squirrels and should have a great season within their receiving core.

Staying as our TE1 in the 2029 North Dakota class but moving up 15+ spots was LaMoure-Litchville-Marion tight end [player_tooltip player_id='1745589' first='Owen' last='DeLaBarre']. We got most of our glimipses of Owen late last season, but what we saw during the NDSU Indy camp was more size (6'2 223) and surely one of the more athletic profiles at that size within that 2029 class that was in attendance at Fargo. Owen's pretty well-rounded when it comes to the tight end position. He can get downhill into the second level and create open field for the run game and blocks like a bully looking for fight with also good pad-level on those blocks. He's effective in red zone packages as a pass-catcher and is one that doesn't need much of a window to work with in higher traffic areas as he's instinctive as a route-runner between the blockers.

It's been known for most of the summer that Fargo Davies EDGE rusher [player_tooltip player_id='1630941' first='Elijah' last='Johnson'] was going to be near the top-tier of our 2029 North Dakota rankings, the question was where would he end up? He ends up as our EDGE1 and #4 overall prospect in the 2029 class. He has the explosives in his lower body that are twitchy for his size, as he ran a 4.72 pro agility at the size noted in his profile as just an incoming sophomore. The pure hands that Elijah has showed well from a placement perspective this summer which threaded well getting off blocks but man is he one sophomore that I am excited to watch for in the coming weeks with what he can do with more tape as when you get two PRZ scouts on your radar in back to back camps, you're doing something right.

Moving up five spots overall in our 2029 North Dakota rankings is Des Lacs-Burlington' running back [player_tooltip player_id='1740852' first='Mason' last='Rist']. From my eyes with Mason, the floodgates are open to play linebacker or running back at the next-level as I feel the skillsets are more balanced than maybe they were from last update. Mason shows that he can get just about sideline to sideline with his effective game-speed amped from a year ago. The live eval I got at the running back spot this since at the Valley City State Prospect Camp showed off as one of the best 2029s in attendance from North Dakota not only off the eye-test, but just from a football IQ perspective, as that still has plenty of room to grow too in my eyes.

We took a good look at our updated 2029 North Dakota rankings and looked which prospects moved the needle the most as far as not only rankings spots, but just overall growth from the first time we put them on our radar. These five caught my attention quickly.
