was going to be near the top-tier of our 2029 North Dakota rankings, the question was where would he end up? He ends up as our EDGE1 and #4 overall prospect in the 2029 class. He has the explosives in his lower body that are twitchy for his size, as he ran a 4.72 pro agility at the size noted in his profile as just an incoming sophomore. The pure hands that Elijah has showed well from a placement perspective this summer which threaded well getting off blocks but man is he one sophomore that I am excited to watch for in the coming weeks with what he can do with more tape as when you get two PRZ scouts on your radar in back to back camps, you’re doing something right.

Staying close to home and camping in Fargo with now-FBS North Dakota State, Fargo Davies’ High School had a can’t-miss 2029 at the Bison’s first camp of the summer. Repping with the underclassmen, Johnson was head-and-shoulders above his peers, both in size and talent, and he was showing off some noticeable twitchy one-cut ability, acceleration and burst, and physicality, as he was running kids over in any kind of padded 1v1 exercise. Size was legit too. Big name to know out of North Dakota’s 2029 class.

Probably one of the more eye-catching 2029s we’ve seen this summer in live evals has been Fargo Davies defensive linemen

which was the case in Brookings. The 6’1 221 pounder has so much frame to fill out yet boosts the athleticism that college coaches are going to want to know earlier as he ran a 4.72 pro agility at that size at the SDSU Prospect Camp and got better in all of his second reps via testing. He has explosive hands for his age that have pretty sound hand placement to obtain leverage that translates to both sides of the trenches as he plays on both sides for Davies. He popped out as well at the NDSU Prospect Camp this past weekend per

so back to back solid live evals will rise Elijah into our 2029 rankings coming out in August.
