Birmingham Seaholm Vs Milford Week 1 Big House Battle

Saturday featured 3 games in Ann Arbor at the big house and the first one of the day was a very anticipated matchup between Birmingham Seaholm and Milford. Both teams have very good rosters with several high level prospects. Lets take a look at some of the prospects that raised there stock. I am not sure anybody in the state of Michigan has a louder start to there year that what Bryce did on Saturday at the big house. Bryce was sensational as wide receiver 1 in the Milford offense. Bryce showed the complete package you would want to see from a big time wideout. Bryce ran excellent routes and showed excellent body control for a 6'4" wideout. On one play early in the second half Bryce ran a quick slant split 2 defenders and housed an 80 yard TD running away from trailing defenders. On the day Bryce tallied 3 touchdowns and well over 100 yards receiving and led Milford to a huge week 1 win over Birmingham Seaholm. Watch out for Bryce to continue this trend as he looked to be unguardable and could see massive numbers out of the senior wide out. Bentley was thrown into action after finding out starter Hudson Smith was out with an undisclosed injury and Bentley did not let the moment get to be too much. Bentley did a very good job trusting his teammates and let the game come to him. Bentley showed very good arm strength and was delivering big time throws all over the field. Bently displayed very good touch on his deep ball and was very decisive in his throws while he had small windows to throw through. Bentley was very poised and it transferred into a big game for the freshman. Milford has 2 very solid quarterbacks on the roster and the freshman showed he can play and the bright lights are not to much. Ethan showed up Saturday and was ready to go right from the opening snap. Milford has to very solid tackles and Ethan was tested on almost every play and showed really good pass rushing ability and did a very good job setting the edge for the seaholm defense. Ethan made multiple plays in the backfield and was a thorn in the side of the Milford offensive staff. I was also very impressed with Ethan's motor that he plays with. Ethan plays very hard and was relentless in attacking all afternoon and raised his stock as he rolls into his junior season. Will had a big start to his senior season showing out in all 3 phases of the game on Saturday. Will was very effective as a running back in seaholms offensive attack. He showed good vision and excellent speed as he tote the rock for the maples. Defensively will was excellent from his safety spot. He was good in coverage and did a very nice good job in run support also. Will has his biggest impact on the game in the 3rd quarter when the seaholm sideline needed a lift and will gave it to them in the form of a 80 yard punt return that closed the gap on the scoreboard and sparked a lot of energy from his teammates. Will was very impressive and see his stat line blowing up this fall. Juliano was a player that I was not overly familiar with until Saturday and after watching him there is nothing about his game not to love. Juliano was tough on both sides of the ball. On offense he was very effective running the ball with force downhill at the strength of the defense and sealing the game late with a very tough TD run. Defensively he led an attacking defense that was challenged on every play by an offense that if you read your key wrong it will result in a big chunk play. Juliano i
