Vermont players who will be on the run

Twelve of those 51 carries went for touchdowns. He ran for 267 yards and four TDs on five carries during a semifinal victory over Mount Mansfield. He also caught 13 passes for 345 yards. Baning was selected as an All-State First Team running back following the 2025 season and seems primed for an explosive fall. He rushed for 2,045 yards and 32 touchdowns as a sophomore, and also recorded 76 tackles and intercepted seven passes as a defensive back. Bazin ran for 202 yards and three TDs on 25 carries in the championship game. He also lined up at linebacker and recorded 39 tackles (1.5 sacks) for a Middlebury team that beat St. Johnsbury 13-7 in the Division I championship game. He came up with a late interception that sealed the victory against St. Johnsbury. He also tossed a TD pass. A versatile player who is also used as a wide receiver, Kyhill had 378 receiving yards and eight touchdowns last season. He finished the 2025 season with 1,841 yards rushing a 23 touchdowns for a Mount Abraham/Vergennes team that lost to Bellows Falls in the Division III championship game. In addtion, he caught two touchdown passes in 2025. Gagnon has also proven to be dangerous on special teams.
