Quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1340853' first='Luca' last='Villasenor'] of Eastside Catholic had a phenomenal junior season as well, passing for 2,255 yards and 25 TD's in only 4 full games. He earned 1st&nbsp;team all-Metro accolades.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Two other highly ranked QB's include [player_tooltip player_id='2100382' first='Nathan' last='Zettle'] of West Valley who is one of the top overall athletes in Washington, being named the league MVP in both football and basketball. 6-4 190-pound signal caller [player_tooltip player_id='1605392' first='Ben' last='Druckman'] will be called upon to lead one of the NW's best programs in Camas.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>There are a handful of noteworthy running backs who rank towards the top of the charts. [player_tooltip player_id='635258' first='Thor' last='Brody'] projects as a 1st&nbsp;team all-state RB for the Papermakers after going for 1300+ yards last season. [player_tooltip player_id='1591584' first='Xander' last='Kekaualua'] makes the move from Westview HS in Beaverton, OR to Evergreen HS in VVancouver, and he should immediately be considered one of the top backs in WA at the 3A level.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1368329' first='Toetu' last='Moliga'] of Lakes was a 1st&nbsp;team all-state selection last season with the film speaking for itself. From a recruiting standpoint it's just a size thing. 6-1 220-pound [player_tooltip player_id='1576634' first='Blake' last='Pearson'] of Graham Kapowsin is a big bruising back who was a 1st&nbsp;team all-conference pick as a sophomore. If GK wins it all, he will be a big contributor.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2209869' first='Isaiah' last='Smith'] of Archbishop Murphy put up unreal numbers running the ball, while helping his team to a state title. His 88 carries for 1,318 yards and 21 TD's were impressive, with his 15 yards per carry average being the best in the Northwest.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>If we are talking overall athletes and individuals who can do a little bit of everything, the 2027 class is loaded. [player_tooltip player_id='1635067' first='Nathaniel' last='Rembisz'] might not be as well-known as he should be, playing at 2A La Center, but I would consider him a legit FCS bubble guy who could play a high level of collegiate ball. [player_tooltip player_id='584995' first='Jeremiah' last='Orcutt'] of Franklin Pierce received an early offer from Portland St and is also one to watch. Another 2A guy is [player_tooltip player_id='2100429' first='Hands' last='Warrick'] out of Rogers HS in Spokane who could garner attention this coming season.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1605386' first='Luke' last='Parker'] of Puyallup is probably underrated and could make a nice jump up the rankings board with a good season. Last year he killed it being named the 4A SPSL athlete of the year. [player_tooltip player_id='2065194' first='Ray' last='Clark III'] out of O'Dea is another very talented individual who earned 2nd&nbsp;team all-conference honors on both sides of the football.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>With record breaking QB Brady Jay gone it will be interesting to see how Moses Lake does as a team. They have a pair of standouts in [player_tooltip player_id='1602819' first='Elijah' last='Burns'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1561841' first='Taggart' last='Rathbun'] who both return after putting up elite numbers the last few years. Burns has totaled 3000+ all-purpose yards and 25 Tds the last two seasons, with Rathbun being a 1st&nbsp;team all-conference returner and physically dominant at 6-1 210.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Moving on to the receivers, we see another position with an abundance of talent. At 5-8 [player_tooltip player_id='1599662' first='Ean' last='Owens'] of Lakes could be considered someone who plays the ATH position as a slot. Regardless, he's a legit talent and one of the better kick returners in the West as well. He went for 1100+ all-purpose yards and 11 TDs last season.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1368331' first='Henry' last='Sigfridson'] is one of the best overall athletes in Washington out of Kalama. He played the QB spot while projecting at WR, accounting for 27 TDs in 2025. At 6-7 [player_tooltip player_id='2042073' first='Fin' last='Stewart'] could write his own ticket if he has a good year for Mount Si, which should be much improved as a team.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1368330' first='Mason' last='Severson'] out of Kamiakin makes a nice jump up the rankings board after an outstanding off season where he was listed as a top performer at the Northwest Showcase at Western Oregon, the largest event on the west coast. The unanimous 1st&nbsp;team all-conference wideout caught 58 balls for 900+ yards and 14 TD's last year.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>6-5 WR [player_tooltip player_id='1691681' first='Henry' last='Miller'] out of 1A Chelan has done well at camps and should be recognized. It's just a tough situation playing for a small program that has struggled. [player_tooltip player_id='1727692' first='Jacob' last='Simons'] out of 1A Eatonville is an absolute beast at 6-2 215. The 1st&nbsp;team all-league WR committed to Eastern Washington last month.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1248695' first='Carlin' last='Gochnour'] out of Bothell racked up 2nd&nbsp;team all Kingco honors last season, catching 30 passes with 600+ all-purpose yards and 5 TDs. The Blue Train has an elite pair of RB's, which opponents will have to focus on, making him that much more dangerous.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>6-4 230-pound TE [player_tooltip player_id='1743631' first='Jack' last='Christiansen'] of Ferris HS has been one of the fastest risers in the entire Northwest on the rankings board. He was a CO-MVP at the Northwest Showcase and earned all-conference honors last year for a school that didn't win a game, making the accolades that much more impressive. [player_tooltip player_id='2042070' first='James' last='Ort III'] is another guy I really like at the TE position. Eastlake has a bunch of intriguing athletes with the 6-5 220-pound big man being at the top of the list. He jumps 20+ spots on the rankings board as well.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Baseball standout [player_tooltip player_id='1568792' first='Parker' last='Heeter'] of Kennedy Catholic is also proving to be one of Washington's top tight ends. The 1st&nbsp;team all-league standout returns and could be a 1st&nbsp;or 2nd&nbsp;team all-state guy for one of 4A's top programs.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The big boys up front all could be FCS D1 or D2 type lineman if they continue to progress and put together some good senior film. Ernest Populus III of O'Dea helped his team win the 3A state title again last year, earning 1st&nbsp;team all-Metro honors in the process. He had a great offseason as part of FSP. 6-4 260-pound OL [player_tooltip player_id='1599609' first='Matthew' last='Kuder'] of Seattle Prep is another Metro League guy who will have eyes on him and could make some noise on the recruiting front.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1593208' first='Jedidiah' last='Matautia'] of Eastside Catholic is fundamentally as good as any interior lineman in the state. He will be in the conference POY conversation for his position. 6-3 270-pound [player_tooltip player_id='1602822' first='Payton' last='Phillips'] out of Moses Lake is another one of the state's top interior guys. He will be a 3 year all-conference selection.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2156000' first='Zach' last='Dykstra'] of Lynden could be Washington's 2A O lineman of the year. He looks the part and was also a legit contributor on D, making 27.5 tackles with 10 TFL's and 2 sacks. Dykstra will have competition from [player_tooltip player_id='2007751' first='Logan' last='Rogers'] of Sehome who was equally versatile earning 1st&nbsp;team accolades on both sides of the ball. Statistically he had similar numbers with 32 tackles, 7.5 TFL's, and 5 sacks.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Last but definitely not least 6-4 290-pound [player_tooltip player_id='2167337' first='Nikai' last='Senethavilay'] out of Lake Washington HS who has significantly upped his stock. Much like Populus he killed it as part of FSP over the offseason.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
