Per usual rankings are based on who projects highest at the collegiate level. You can be an outstanding HS athlete and not project to a high level of collegiate ball. A big blow to Sumner with him catching 120 balls for close to 2000 yards over thew last two seasons.   Pope now ranks as the #1 player in the state, helping his team win back-to-back state titles while committing to UW. On the year he caught 52 passes for 869 yards and 12 TDs.     2.[player_tooltip player_id='1599603' first='Tevita' last='Nonu'] 6-4 270 DT O'Dea COMMITTED: Washington    UPDATED: The Huskies have to be stoked here with Nonu committing to UW over the likes of Oregon, Michigan, and Notre Dame. He is one of the top 25 ranked D lineman in the country.    The big man only played in the last 5 games of the year due to injury but still earned 1st team all-state honors, helping the Irish to another 3A title. He is ranked #1 by some services as the offers speak for themselves.   3.[player_tooltip player_id='1315611' first='Zach' last='Albright'] 6-5 235 TE Glacier Peak COMMITTED: Washington   UPDATED: UW got another solid commitment from the 6-5 standout athlete whose best days look to be ahead of him. His overall athleticism and 2nd team all conference honors on the basketball floor help speak to his potential.    Expect another big off season for Albright. He was a 1st team all state selection at TE with Glacier going 10-2 and losing to 2x 4a state champ Sumner in the playoffs. He has added size and is already a freak athlete.    Probably the fastest rising recruit in the NW. His big time offers outside the region speak to him potentially being one of the top TE prospects nationwide for his class. As a sophomore he put up impressive numbers catching 29 passes for 403 yards and 8 Tds.    4.[player_tooltip player_id='2101393' first='Achilles' last='Reyna'] 6-8 250 DE Rainier Beach COMMITTED: Oregon    UPDATED: In his first year ever playing football Reyna put up some of the best film in the Northwest and was rewarded with double digit scholarship offers before committing to the Ducks over the likes of LSU and Texas A/M.    5.[player_tooltip player_id='1188085' first='Sione' last='Kaho'] 6-3 210 QB Lincoln COMMITTED: Stanford   UPDATED: Andrew Luck and the Cardinal have their guy of the future. In his 4th season as the starter for Lincoln he will be expected to put up monster numbers.    Kaho earned 3A 1st team all-state honors at QB, throwing for 2000+ yards and 19 TD's/9 INTs. For his career he now has 6500+ yards passing, hitting on 65% of his throws, with 54 TD's/23 INTs.     6.[player_tooltip player_id='1188082' first='Gecova' last='Doyal'] 6-3 285 OL Puyallup COMMITTED: Washington    UPDATED: The dominant 4* big man could be one of the best interior lineman nationwide when all is said and done. The Huskies have been cleaning up with their in-state recruits.    Doyal had a phenomenal season earning 1st team all-state honors as a junior. If he gets out on the camp circuit I could see some more of the nation's top programs offering.    7.[player_tooltip player_id='1188123' first='Ty' last='Tautolo'] 6-5 245 DE Lake Stevens OFFERS (15) Notre Dame, Michigan, USC, Washington, Texas A/M   UPDATED: The offers and stats speak for themselves. He has added size and ranks among the top 80 D lineman in the country. We should hear a lot about him coming up being the highest ranked non commit in Washington.    Tautolo made the transfer from Snohomish to Lake Stevens and didn't miss a beat, racking up 1st team all state honors while totaling 90 tackles, 30 TFL's, and 6 sacks.    8.[player_tooltip player_id='928074' first='Maurice' last='Williams'] 6-2 190 DB Timberline COMMITTED: Washington   UPDATED: The big corner is really good. He will head back to his home school of Timberline and give a significant boost to a program that was (1-9) two seasons ago.    Williams made the transfer from Yelm to 4A power Graham Kapowsin playing in only 4 games this season. His commitment to Huskies was a good one for both parties.    Williams broke out as a freshman and earned 1st team all-conference honors. His DB MVP accolades at the Under Armour Camp this off season helped solidify him as one of the top defensive backs on the west coast.    9.[player_tooltip player_id='2100480' first='Rashaun' last='Lavata'i'] 6-7 280 OL Curtis COMMITTED: Washington St   UPDATED: WSU has to be ecstatic with Lavata'i's commitment and hopeful they can keep him with his stock skyrocketing. Washington, Utah, UCLA, and Cal have already made their intentions known, and I would bet numerous others do the same before signing day.    Lavata'i has a projection much like his brother who is committed to San Diego St. He has become one of the state's top ranked recruits with an elite upside.    10.[player_tooltip player_id='1188105' first='J'Isaiah' last='Mitchell'] 6-5 180 ATH Puyallup COMMITTED: Boise St   UPDATED: The Broncos got a good one here. I would expect him to be a state statistical leader this season for the Vikings and possibly one of the best receivers ever to come out of BSU.     Mitchell is all of 6-5 and was part of an elite trio of WR's at Puyallup where the ball was spread around. On the year he caught 51 passes for 770 yards and 7 TD's, averaging 15.1 yards per catch.    11.[player_tooltip player_id='1188110' first='Michael' last='Pulalasi'] 6-0 220 LB Puyallup COMMITTED: Eastern Washington   UPDATED: I'm definitely a broken record here, but I think Pulalasi is massively under recruited and will be the Big Sky POY if he ends up in the conference. I expect Mid Majors and other big programs to come in on him still.    I personally would have had Pulalasi listed as the 4A POY in the state of Washington on the defensive side of the ball. He was the only junior to earn 1st team all-state honors at LB, finishing with 93 tackles and 15.5 TFL's.    Another reason Puyallup could be one of the top 4A programs in the state this coming year. Pulalasi makes the move from Lakes after earning conference POY honors on the defensive side of the ball as a sophomore, accounting for 116 tackles with 11 TFL's. Credit to PSU on being the first to extend an offer as he will have many more.    12.[player_tooltip player_id='1969013' first='Blake' last='Moser'] 6-0 180 QB Lake Stevens COMMITTED: Iowa St   UPDATED: Probably the fastest rising prospect in the region. Moser put up unreal numbers as a junior accounting for 55 TD's (39 passing, 16 rushing) and 3,462 yards (2,612 passing, 850 rushing). His versatility was unmatched, averaging 12.3 yards per carry while hitting on 66% of his passes.    13.[player_tooltip player_id='1568794' first='Drenden' last='Knaevelsrud'] 6-4 215 LB Mount Si COMMITTED: San Diego St   UPDATED: One of the best offseasons of any player in the NW. Knaevelsrudjumped 10 spots on the board and gives SDSU some bragging rights with offers being extended by Oregon St, Boise St, and others as well.    Knaevelsrud and teammate [player_tooltip player_id='1555731' first='Jason' last='Armbruster'] give Mount Si one of the best pair of 6-4 defensive players anywhere in the region. Recruiting hasn't necessarily picked up for him yet, but it will. He was a 1st team all KingCo selection.    As mentioned Knaevelsrud was the only sophomore in the 4A KingCo to earn all-league honors, racking up 2nd team accolades and leading the D with 80 tackles. He's added some size and impresses with his overall versatility, being able to play multiple spots on the field.    14.[player_tooltip player_id='1188077' first='Tayven' last='Collins'] 5-11 180 Safety Cascade Christian COMMITTED: New Mexico   UPDATED: As referenced Collins is super legit. If UNM can keep the commitments of him and Oregon top safety Ben Wiepert out of Wilsonville, the Lobos could have an elite secondary in the years ahead.    Give Coach Eck all the credit in the world on this commitment. Tayven has some Budda Baker type ability and could end up one of the best defensive players ever to play for the Lobos. He averaged 8 tackles per game on D with 4 INT's, to go with 1300 all-purpose yards and 10 touchdowns.    15.[player_tooltip player_id='569907' first='Ayden' last='Bullinger'] 6-5 265 T Graham-Kapowsin OFFERS (5) Oregon St, Hawaii, Montana St, Eastern Wash, PSU   UPDATED: I've been a big advocate of Bullinger from the beginning with OSU and Hawaii looking like they have the inside track on him right now. That said as he will have eyes on him all season long from top programs.    I think people are sleeping on Bullinger a little bit. As mentioned he has an ideal frame for the position with the ability to add size. He was named a 1st team all-conference tackle for a GK team that will be a serious 4A contender next season.    I could see Bullinger blowing up this coming year and being a major D1 recruit. The 2x 1st team All Area tackle has allowed 1 sack in the last two years and has the frame to add some significant size which would only help his recruitment.    16.[player_tooltip player_id='937738' first='Kase' last='Betz'] 5-11 170 WR Graham-Kapowsin COMMITTED: Montana St   UPDATED: The reason MSU wins FCS national championships is because they get commitments from guys like Betz. He doesn't have his teammate [player_tooltip player_id='985348' first='Jayce' last='Halasz']' size but he's just as good, catching 120+ balls for 2000+ yards and 23 TD's over the last two years.    I could see Betz being one of the best receivers in the nation collegiately before he's done. He was a state leader in multiple statistical categories, catching 76 passes for 1,221 yards and 12 TDs.    17.[player_tooltip player_id='1368318' first='Michael' last='Kori'] 6-1 170 ATH Kamiakin COMMITTED: Portland St   UPDATED: Credit to PSU on this commitment, but I would be shocked if it sticks as Kori is just too good. Over the last two years he has put up some of the best numbers in Washington with 1700+ yards and 22 TD's at Kamiakin.    As most know, Kori is one of the most versatile athletes on the west coast for his class. He was a unanimous 1st team all-conference selection at WR/CB, catching 38 balls for 784 yards and 8 TDs. He also had 2 INT's and 6 PBU's on D.    18.[player_tooltip player_id='1241961' first='Will' last='Lynch'] 6-5 260 OL Lake Stevens COMMITTED: Colorado St   UPDATED: As stated before I think Lynch is the real deal so credit to the Rams on getting his commitment. The versatile lineman held 10+ offers from the likes of Oregon St, Fresno St, and UNLV.    Credit to the Rebels on being the first offer as he will likely have numerous other D1 opportunities. He had an outstanding junior season earning 1st team all-state honors on the O line, while showing off impressive mobility on D with 35 tackles, 9 TFL's, and 3 sacks.    19.[player_tooltip player_id='1969805' first='Gray' last='Longoria'] 6-3 235 OLB/DE Sumner COMMITTED: UNLV   UPDATED: This commitment speaks to how well the Rebels are doing on the recruiting front with Longoria holding double digit D1 offers. He will need to lead the 2x state champs as they graduate a bunch of talent.    Longoria was named the SPSL Defensive Lineman of the year and a 1st team all-state selection as a junior. He has some of the best film of any player in the NW.    20.[player_tooltip player_id='1555731' first='Jason' last='Armbruster'] 6-4 225 Edge/OLB Mount Si COMMITTED: Montana   UPDATED: FCS national power Montana got a good one in Armbruster. The dedication and time that he puts in is unique as I expect him to thrive in Missoula. If Mount Si can put up some points, they will be much improved with an elite D.    Armbruster makes a jump up the rankings board, racking up 1st team all-league honors with 34 tackles, 11 TFL's, and 5 sacks. He has the potential of being a legit FCS/Mid Major type guy.    21.[player_tooltip player_id='1599628' first='Nathan' last='Obasanjo'] 6-1 210 Safety Mount Rainier COMMITTED: Washington St   UPDATED: Just a very physical and impressive athlete with speed, running an 11.0 100 meters. Utah, UNLV, Colorado St and others offered so the Cougars have to be very pleased with his commitment.      22. [player_tooltip player_id='1428218' first='Ryan' last='Harrington'] 6-1 200 QB Anacortes COMMITTED: Washington St   UPDATED: WSU has done an outstanding job thus far with their in-state recruiting as highlighted by guys like Harrington. He could very well be a 2–3-year starter for the Cougars.    The 3* QB put up some ridiculous numbers this past season, garnering his first couple D1 offers as well. For the year he passed for 3,334 yards and 36 TD's (32 passing) with a 67% completion percentage. Harrington was named the Skagit Valley Offensive POY.    23.[player_tooltip player_id='2250904' first='Kataferu' last='Galoia'] 6-3 310 DL Timberline COMMITTED: Oregon St   UPDATED: Full transparency Galoia was not a recruit high on the board until recently. He has more then changed that with the Beavers and schools like UNLV and Montana offering as well.    24.[player_tooltip player_id='1619207' first='Mose' last='Kalepo'] 6-2 215 LB Bellevue OFFERS (3) Oregon St, Boise St, San Jose St   UPDATED: Watch the film. Kalepo comes from a talented family and has some of that "IT" factor. He was a 1st team all KingCo LB and could blow up this offseason.    25.[player_tooltip player_id='2042043' first='Kason' last='Carta'] 6-2 180 ATH Bellevue COMMITTED: Air Force   UPDATED: Multiple Big Sky's came in and offered Carta, but he made his intentions known with the Air Force Academy. He's definitely the type of kid who could thrive at a military institution.    Carta is long, can run, and is just a very good overall athlete. He was a 1st team all Kingco selection. He also qualified for the Junior Olympics in the hurdles.
