Underrated 2028s Looking to Make a Splash This Season

Allen measures in at 5'7 160-pounds playing WR/DB for Pueblo South. He also plays varsity basketball, track, and baseball! This past season, he had 28 receptions for 455 yards with 1 touchdown, 30 total tackles (23 solo, 7 assisted), 1 TFL, 2 INT, 3 PD, with 2 FR. He has good athletic ability due to very good balance, acceleration, good speed, jumping, and change of direction. Allen demonstrates a good release against both off coverage and the press jam. Uses his quick feet and acceleration to create separation. Allen fights through contact and will also come back to the QB during the scramble drill. Very good ball tracking and good catching. Good body control and ball adjustment. Allen thrives out in open space with the ball in his hands. Uses juke moves to make defenders miss and get yards after the catch. Intriguing player that's flying under radars.     Ibarra measures in at 5'10 155-pounds playing MLB for The Pinnacle. This past season, he had 80 total tackles (19 solo, 61 assisted), 5 TFL, 1 sack, 4 INT, 14 PD, and 1 FF. Ibarra has good athletic ability due to very good acceleration, good speed, jumping, and lateral quickness. Good read and reaction speed. Ibarra uses his athleticism and speed to attack gaps making a living in the backfield. One thing of note is his timing on pass break ups. Uses his lengthy arms to swat the ball out of the air, or will punch it out for an incompletion or fumble. Uses his good range to consistently make plays and help his teammates finish tackles. Ibarra exhibits very good competitive toughness. Good tackling with good zone coverage skills too. I'm excited to see how he continues to develop down the stretch.     Wallace is an intriguing prospect measuring in at 6'5 253-pounds playing OT. Off the bat, he has great size for a tackle. He has good initial quickness out of his stance and hand speed to engage his opponent first. Wallace maintains a low pad level throughout due to his good knee bend and flexibility. Wallace has very good hand placement and hand strength. Uses his strength to control and steer his opponent with ease. He also demonstrates quick feet to match the speed of athletic edge rushers. He anchors into the ground, standing tall with his very good balance and body control. He has very good competitive toughness as well. Gives his all during the rep and wants to learn more. I'm excited to see how he does this upcoming season for Windsor after a productive off-season honing his craft.     Herman measures in at 6'2 170-pounds playing DB for Vista Ridge. Great size for a DB. Last season, he had 19 total tackles (15 solo, 4 assisted), 1 TFL, with 4 PD. Herman has good athletic ability due to very good balance, speed, acceleration, good jumping, and change of direction. Herman does a good job jamming the receiver at the line of scrimmage. Smooth controlled back pedal with great hip fluidity to match receivers. He'll use his speed to stay stride for stride not giving up much room. Very good man coverage with good zone coverage. Herman displays very good closing quickness and timing to create pass break ups. Strong tackler as well and isn't afraid to get physical. Add him to your list of players to watch for next season.     Lucas measures in at 6'0 160 pounds playing QB for Thompson Valley. Last season, he threw 93/162 for 1404 yards, 57.4% completion rate, 10 TDs, 5 INT, 76 carries for 336 yards with 10 touchdowns. He's a dual threat QB that keeps defenses on their toes. Lucas has good athletic ability due to good balance, change of direction, speed, and acceleration. He has a good throw power with a very quick release. Lucas does a good job standing tall in the pocket and avoiding pressure. If no one's open, he'll scramble out for a first down with his very good scramble ability. Good progression speed to find the open man. Lucas has good ball placement skills. He also demonstrates good accuracy and touch on his throws. I'm looking forward to seeing how he does in his junior year.
