Top Linebacker Prospects Heading Into 2026

<p>With the season right around the corner, we take a look at the top linebackers in the Natural State. Most, if not all, of these prospects will be playing on Saturdays in 2026. Here are ten linebackers to watch. The football slash track star has a bright future with his athletic ability and longevity. He's known for his sideline-to-sideline motor. He effectively stacks and sheds blockers, making timely plays at the line of scrimmage. He's a high-motor linebacker with good athletic ability to play at both the Mike and Will. He attacks downhill against the run with good angles and physicality at the point of attack. He's going to play at the next level, and it's only a matter of time till the offers start rolling in. Choate is a high-motor linebacker who can cover the entire field. Choate has a quick first step and good read-and-react ability to attack downhill against the run. He utilizes good angles and physicality at the POA. He possesses the size and athletic ability to be successful at the next level. Dotson is a physical, high-motor prospect who can chase down ball carriers from behind with good foot speed. Moore showcases a quick first step with solid read-and-react ability to make a play on the ball. He can shoot the gaps on blitzes with solid foot quickness and physicality while staying square at the point of attack.
