On Saturday, June 27, 2026 Prep Redzone Next was back-in-action in Jackson, New Jersey, as they hosted "The Rize." A double-session prospect showcase, this event drew middle school prospects from all across the country to see how they stacked up against their national counterparts. Each prospect was personally hand-selected by middle school guru Al Pops to compete and attend.

As per usual, I attended and report to you my positional notes for the position group referenced in the title of this article. My evaluations are through the lens of a high school coach and talent evaluator.

Be sure to follow me on Twitter for the latest New Jersey high school football prospect news and not miss a beat!

On the heels of a 2025 Pop Warner National Championship berth, [player_tooltip player_id='644561' first='Jake' last='Cipot'] has high expectations as he embarks on his high school career. The son of a successful coaching family, Cipot is a prospect that is certainly coachable and ready to work. He must, however, not forget the attention to details. One rep I caught of his, Cipot had a clean drop. It seemed as though he was more worried about what he was going to do with the ball before he ever had possession of the ball. I am sure he has heard his father and uncle, alike, say what I am about to say: it is the little things, son! Look the ball in to your hands. Given his pedigree, I am certain that Cipot never makes this error again in his career.

Connor Maxie is the type of prospect I would love to work with and further develop on my team. Tall and a bit stiff, stretching and dynamic workouts will help unwind him a bit. That said, Maxie looks the ball into his hands every time he is targeted and also snaps his hips extremely well when stopping his route. Something that I am sure will get coached up during his career is to attack the ball on curls/comebacks. Again, very raw but yet with strong fundamentals, Maxie projects and profiles out as the type of prospect a coach would love to have in their meeting room.

Regrettably, I wish I had gotten a more detailed look and more familiar with Tereson Woodley's game. On the heels of making a tremendous falling catch, Woodley showed outstanding ball skills and concentration. Moreover, Woodley ran as if he was a strider - which only left me to wonder just exactly how much turn up speed he has.

Football, and being damn good at it, runs in the veins of [player_tooltip player_id='2143032' first='Sammy' last='Moreta']. Continuing the Paramus Catholic legacy set for by older brother, and current NC State Wolfpack linebacker Jordan Moreta, younger brother [player_tooltip player_id='2143032' first='Sammy' last='Moreta'] showcased quickness and agility in the glimpse that I saw him. A smaller prospect at just 5'6", Moreta used this to his advantage as he works underneath in the slot. Busting clean on a silky-smooth pivot route, Moreta was open by about 7-yards from his matchup. Unfortunately for Moreta, I think the quarterback he was paired with was in disbelief as he overthrew a wide-open target in Moreta. That said, I could not tell who was further from who: Moreta from his defender or the arrant pass from Moreta.

The Rize Event Coverage

Defensive Line, Part 1
Defensive Line, Part 2
Offensive Line, Part 1
Offensive Line, Part 2
Quarterbacks, Part 1
Receivers, Part 1
Receivers, Part 2
Running Backs, Part 1
