Straight with the Rock: Running Backs who Run the Block

Hall was a fluid runner who made sharp, hard cuts. His cuts can be so sharp that at one point, Hall broke a linebacker's ankles as he promptly had a seat on the ground. A seemingly reliable target out of the backfield, he extends for the ball wen targeted too. Hall can, however, stand to improve his footwork. Clean feet aside, Staten did a great job of pressing forward to the line of scrimmage, then pressure cutting forward laterally with a burst. With a slight frame, Smith has seemed to adopt many 7v7 habits. The positive of this is that he makes hard, dramatic cuts. These cuts, however, I am not certain he would get off in an actual game setting. He even made a back cut to make someone miss. For as eye-catching as these cuts are, Smith's cuts were also loud. Sternlieb hips are very wiggly and smooth, allowing him to turn in-and-out of tight spots. Sternlieb might be in the midst of transferring, as he did not list a high school on the roster I was provided.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Running back #112 was one who had loose hips. I thought that when he shifted them slightly that its effects were dramatized, affording him room to work.
