Season Preview: Top 2027s With Something to Prove

Sawyer displays good body adjustment in the middle of the air. More of linear route runner, would like to see him add some variety to him as a RR. Wins one-on-one battles and is great at winning contested catches, even against corners who are taller than him. Good hand-eye coordination and adequate leaping ability. Lamerson has a quick first step, he is a great puller who can get out in space, latch on and take defenders for a ride. I love his blocking abilities in space especially at the second level.  Good hand placement and strike timing. Very good X/Z receiver who can get open on the perimeter. Great size at 6-foot-4, lean 165, which allows him to win one-on-one battles, contested catches and high-point the ball. Solid route runner who can create separation and work back to the ball. He picked up an offer from Capital. He can hold the point of attack and possesses good anchor strength. He occupies multiple blockers effectively, freeing up his teammates an defense to clean up the play. I love his strength, size, frame and athleticism. Bowling Green State was his first Division I offer.
