<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Last Years Result: 3-7</h2>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Head Coach: Donald Turner entering 9th season as HC</h2>   <p>The Wolfpack play a rigorous Freelance schedule where each week they could facing a powerhouse. Coach Turner and his staff came on strong last year and have a lot of returning starters plus key newcomers that should put SPC back over .500 in 2026. Defensive Coordinator JP Corum who came over last season has been working relentlessly along with the rest of the staff to get the Wolfpack on top. " <em>We're excited about where our program is headed. Last season was about laying the foundation and teaching our system, establishing expectations, and changing the culture. While we graduated several key contributors, we're confident in the players returning and excited about the young talent that's ready to step into bigger roles. Friday nights can't get here soon enough."</em><br></p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Key Returnees:</strong> [player_tooltip player_id='1752641' first='Nasir' last='Patterson'], [player_tooltip player_id='2067823' first='Edy' last='Pinto'], [player_tooltip player_id='2067828' first='Jimmy' last='Nemec'], [player_tooltip player_id='2067821' first='Dominic' last='Savelloni'], [player_tooltip player_id='2067819' first='Joey' last='Sonkwa'], [player_tooltip player_id='2067826' first='Izaiah' last='Wingfield'], Parker Munoz</h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">Really good looking corner [player_tooltip player_id='1752641' first='Nasir' last='Patterson'] played a ton last year, they put him out on an island often and he ran with a number of top flight receivers. </p>   <p>I remember watching his kickoff return against St Agnes live and seeing his speed up close. He has ball skills, can rush the passer and make a ton of tackles. A rising junior who ranks 147 in the 2028 class, [player_tooltip player_id='2067828' first='Jimmy' last='Nemec'] is a master of his craft. </p>     <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='2067823' first='Edy' last='Pinto'] was watch listed in our most recent 2029 rankings and probably should of been included in our top 150. Good tough linemen that is a part of a deep sophomore class for the Wolfpack. I would expect to see him at guard and defensive tackle this season.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Savelloni is a part of small senior class for a very young Wolfpack squad who made plays last fall! A good slot receiver he catches everything, I saw him up close at our Winter showcase so can attest. He should figure into a bigger role offensively, Savelloni will stick his pads into anyone. </p>   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-x wp-block-embed-x"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/DominicSav12333/status/2017990135204163685?s=20 </div></figure>     <p class="text-gray-700">We have our 2028 updated rankings coming out next month and [player_tooltip player_id='2067826' first='Izaiah' last='Wingfield'] looks like a stock up candidate. He is 6'2 and really has some big play ability, won a ton of 50/50 balls on the tape I saw. Wingfield will play corner as well and could have a future their at the next level. His size and speed may be too much for college coaches to ignore. </p>     <p class="text-gray-700">One of their returning linemen is [player_tooltip player_id='2067819' first='Joey' last='Sonkwa'], good size and weight at 6'4 and 260 lbs. He looks like he has gained 20 lbs. of muscle heading into his senior season. Sonkwa seems to have a little bit of a mean streak in him too which you love to see. A division 2 prospect or higher with a big senior season, Sonkwa should get some offers soon. </p>    <p><strong>Key Newcomers:</strong> <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1734421' first='Luke' last='Adams'], James B. Snipes</strong> IV</p>    <p class="text-gray-700">Transferring in from Stafford High School [player_tooltip player_id='1734421' first='Luke' last='Adams'] will be coming off our watch list very soon. He has impressed during the off-season and caught the attention of our National Director and my colleague Vic Castillo back in Princeton. He is very accurate on tape and should thrive in this new system. Part of what could be a very deep quarterback room for the Wolfpack. </p>    <p></p>
