An above-average athlete committed to play at Coastal Carolina, McQueen is a ball-hawks and one of the more productive defenders in the region last year as he made 106 total tackles, eight TFLs and an impressive four INTs in coverage. He can impact the game in several different ways and had his D1-caliber talent on full display last fall. He was an easy addition to the latest rankings who should be even better in 2026.

An impressive West Georgia prospect who can make a major impact in all three phases of the game, Patterson was a dependable pass-catcher and special teams weapon who showed all year that he's one of the top defensive backs in the area for the 2027 class. A strong overall athlete with natural instincts in coverage, Patterson was technically sound with his football and knows how to make a play on the ball. The sleeper athlete at Bowdon made 41 tackles and three INTs on defense and will hope to lead Bowdon to another state title as a senior this fall

A long, athletic cornerback from the Athens area who shows fluid hips and the ability to recover quickly down the field. The 6-foot-2 280-pounder plays hard, shows active hands, and is currently committed to play for the Michigan State Spartans. He's an easy addition to the latest update and makes a big jump into the top-50 in the state. He's a physical defender who knows how to make a big, secure hit on the ball-carrier. He's one of the more physical cornerbacks across the state and could see his ranking only increase with a big senior season. He'll be fun to watch for the Dragons in 2026.

A sleeper defensive back on the rise in Columbus, Alexander makes his debut into the Prep Redzone rankings this summer after a strong 2025 season where he locked down his side of the field all year long as a junior. The 6-foot-0 175-pounder secured 37 tackles, one INT, and one forced fumble. He shows quick hands and the ability to separate the ball from the receiver at the last moment. He plays hard, can change directions, and has the potential to land some late D1 offers with a fantastic senior season this fall. He's one to keep an eye on in West Georgia over the next several months.

A strong athlete in the small town of Swainsboro, Danford was added to the latest rankings update after making plays in several different ways for the Tigers in 2025. The quick, twitchy athlete was an effective ball-carrier on offense while proving to be sound in coverage in the secondary. He shows quick feet, burst, and the ability to fight off a block before taking down the ball-carrier. He's also fast enough to chase down opposing ball-carriers in space. He flashed D1-caliber potential as a junior and could be one of the team's best players as a senior in 2026.
