The Lindbergh Flyers held the annual team camp where they invite several teams to compete in a joint practice and series of scrimmages with each other from around the St. Louis area. Farmington, Orchard Farm, Ritenour and Althoff from Illinois attended and worked on getting their teams ready for the upcoming season in a little over a month. Here are some of the players who caught my attention on the day.

LINDBERGH

[player_tooltip player_id='813880' first='Jameson' last='Honey'] DL 2027
- Verbally committed to Northern Illinois. Honey is a physically developed 6'3" 260 defensive lineman who has spent a good amount of time in the weight room and it shows on the field. He used his strength, power and explosiveness to cause havoc during camp against every team to pressure the QB and make plays in the backfield and line of scrimmage. Good speed and runs down plays on the back end as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='1667956' first='Noah' last='Norman'] LB 2027
- A talented 6'2" 220 defender who is verbally committed to Southeast Missouri. Norman is big, physical and a good athlete who can run. Has the ability to pass cover but is at his best running downhill and making tackles. Loves to hit and can make plays sideline to sideline. Made a good amount during camp, and showed his versatility and ability to play on both sides of the ball on the high school level.

FARMINGTON

[player_tooltip player_id='1590220' first='Josh' last='McCarthy'] LB 2027
- A talented two-way player who is committed to Iowa State to play linebacker. McCarthy was one of the top athletes of the entire camp, and is a versatile football player who also plays receiver, and excels at it. A playmaker on both sides of the ball. Josh uses his speed to get open on offense, and to chase down ball carries or cover backs and receivers on defense at 6'2" 215. A definite leader on the Knights who sets the tone with his play.

[player_tooltip player_id='1667971' first='Isaac' last='Owens'] OL 2027
- The senior anchor of the Knights offensive line is getting looks from multiple colleges and has a few offers at 6'4" 250. Good size, is athletic and moves well. Strong run blocker who moves his opponents and opens holes. Also does a nice job with his pass protection. He's physical and finishes plays.

ORCHARD FARM

[player_tooltip player_id='1741592' first='Terrence' last='Curry Jr.'] WR/DB 2029
- This 6'1" 165 speedster played varsity as a freshman last season on both sides of the ball and contributed nicely. He's back and looks to increase his role, and based on his performance at camp, he will be a go to target on offense at receiver, and one of the Eagles top defenders. Great ball skills, gets separation and runs nice routes. Is physical against the run and is a lockdown corner.

Liam Sinclair QB 2028
- A junior 6'0" 165 signal caller who takes over for his big brother who was the starter last season, but who has moved on to D1 college ball. Liam impressed me with his poise and command of the offense. He threw the ball well and showed good accuracy. He has great mobility and throws the ball well on the run. He is also an elusive runner who picked up good yardage with his legs. More quick and has good moves in open space as opposed to his older brother who was a physical runner with power.

RITENOUR

Anthony Odom QB 2027
- One of the top returning quarterbacks in the St. Louis area for 2026 is the 6'0" 195 Odom. He is smooth and runs the offense well, seeing the field and distributing the ball to a strong group of receivers on the day. He looks like he is ready to pick up where he left off with a big senior season loading. Good arm strength and ball placement to help his receivers.

David Johnson EDGE 2028
- A really intriguing edge rusher to watch for this season after transferring from Lutheran North. Johnson is long, athletic and explosive with a quick first step. He gets past offensive tackles in a hurry and continued the strong play I saw from him this summer at camps where he won the majority of his reps. He has a nice ceiling, and colleges will continue to take notice as he develops more physically at 6'4" 195.
