All State top returners in Virginia: Class 6, Pt. 1

He's been THAT GUY for a few years now. His touch on deep passes stands out. Clearly a pass-first quarterback, if he gets the time, he's delivering an accurate strike downfield. More than solid as a passer when he has to roll out. Andrew is a great runner as well and has a few explosive plays on his highlights that showcase that skillset. Does he have the "protypical size", probably not. That didn't stop Virginia from accepting his commitment last year so it's obvious that his talent overshadows that. He's led his team to back-to-back state championships in Virginia's Class 6 division. During his junior year, he carried the football 213 times for 1,641 yards and 13 touchdowns. One-cut type runner who can bounce plays inside or outside, depending on the situation. Has enough speed to pull away from defenders at the second and third levels. Also a solid pass-catcher. His most recent offer is from the University of Miami (June 22nd). Maryland, Michigan, and Wake Forest are the other schools that offered him in June. He accounted for over 1,700 all-purpose yards and scored 20 touchdowns last season at Woodbridge HS. Based on the highlights I watched, his all-around game is very impressive. He gets busy when he runs the football but is a legit pass-catcher as well. Top-notch all-around back with elite acceleration, vision, and elusiveness. Did a lot of damage from the slot position which is perfect because that's where he'll end up based on his size. He'll need to add some more weight and get stronger once he gets to the next level. Very explosive, gets a lot of yards after the catch. Not the biggest, but not easy to tackle either. Definitely a weapon between the hashes and not scared to go across the middle. Quick and a mismatch for safeties. Evaluation just based on his offensive potential. Proven playmaker. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
