2028 MD/DC/DE Rankings: Top 10 Shake Up

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I take a look at some changes, updates and new additions to the MD 2028 Rankings that came out recently. A new #1 and movement into and within the top 10 that is worth covering. He is a player that I have seen since early fall of this freshman year and he looked the part right away. One of my first notes on him that fall was "has all the tools &amp; potential to be a top P4 kid." Tyzon has full filled that potential and more some. With an elite long, lean muscled up frame and great athleticism, Tyzon fits the mold of today's DL. Able to play at DE or slide inside, he has elite pass rush skills from any spot. He continues to fill out that frame and is adding nice strength to his  his explosiveness. He plays fast and violent and I have mentioned it before, has some Jadeveon Clonwey at times in his game. With a wide array of pass rush moves he can beat you multiple ways with speed or power. This spring Tyzon has showed the development and upped his ability to new levels which is why he moved into that #1 overall spot.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:html --> <blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Henry E. Coming in at the #3 overall moving up from #6 from the last rankings that came out at the end of last season. He also moves into #1 Edge spot as he finally found his home at that spot after being an ATH in the past. &nbsp;With a great frame that continues to fill out with nice bulk. Pair that with his elite athleticism for the position and you have a top prospect. Explosive off the snap, Jermaine is a nightmare for OTs with his speed around the edge. Once he gets a step on the blocker, it is over. Jermaine has developed some impressive rush moves as well. With a clean and full of burst in &amp; out move, swipe &amp; dip move, and using his length for leverage - he can win multiple ways. While still new to being a DE rusher, Jermaine still has huge upside at the potential. You can only imagine how disruptive he could be once he gets to 240-250lb range. He was a consistent top ranked player in the VA 2028 Rankings, and he comes in at #4 overall and the #1 overall DB in the recent MD rankings. With ideal size, teams love tall long CBs and Langston fits that mold standing 6'2". With excellent technique throughout. Langston shines at the LOS, able to press and disrupt receivers release and route timing. Fluid with quick feet and good top end speed, he is able to stay glued to the WRs hips. Langston also shows elite instincts in coverage. Able to quickly re-direct, break and trigger on the play. He is a huge addition to already deep and impressive DeMatha DB room. He breaks into the top 10 these rankings, coming in at #7 overall, #2 DL, and moving up 12 spots from the last end of season rankings. A great body player who carries his weight well and has excellent mobility for his size. A very good athlete for the position, he moves well both north-south and laterally with smooth hips and quick feet. Nikolas fires of the ball, can run down ball carries and plays on his toes. He wins at the LOS with burst, strength &amp; active hands. Consistently making plays in the backfield, and is strong tackler hitting through the ball carrier. Nikolas has had an excellent spring/summer season and colleges took notice. A high level P4 kid with 25+ P4 offers, Nikolas still has tons of upside to his game heading into the 2026 season and could see another rankings jump in his future. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:html --> <blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">There are no off days.
