The Trojans finished 6-5 and returned to the playoffs, marking the first time in 25 years the program reached the postseason in back-to-back seasons. That group was the driving force behind Hampshire's resurgence, accounting for a tremendous amount of production while helping restore confidence and consistency in the program. The Trojans will have to replace several starters while giving a new group of players a chance to prove themselves in expanded roles. There are still talented returners capable of keeping the program moving forward, and a manageable schedule presents opportunities to remain competitive if the younger pieces develop quickly. Dean piled up more than 1,000 rushing yards, added over 400 receiving yards, and found the end zone 15 times, proving he can impact the game in multiple ways. The 6'0 200 back combines power, balance, and the athleticism to stay on the field in every situation, making him one of the foundation pieces of the Trojans' offense. Already a returning starter in the secondary, Blomquist is also a candidate to see more snaps on offense after Hampshire graduated much of its receiving production. He covers a lot of ground with his range, flies to the football, and isn't afraid to attack the football despite being a smaller defender. Blomquist has also proven to be a dangerous kick returner, which could increase his offensive opportunities as well. Netzer quietly put together a strong junior season at corner and has all the tools to earn more recognition during his senior campaign. His length, athleticism, and ability to cover ground allow him to match up with opposing teams' top receivers while holding his own in coverage. Learning from one of the program's top quarterbacks has given Chenoweth valuable experience as he prepares for his first season under center. We've had the opportunity to see him at PRZ events, and he's continued to show steady development while having the potential to become Hampshire's next gunslinger.
