Virginia Spotlight: 2027 Prospects Next in Line for Major Offers

<p>Today, we're going to look at five prospects who should be getting more attention from higher-level programs soon, specifically over the next 3-4 months. All of these players are up to par with their academics, and they have the ideal size and athleticism for their respective positions. It's time for these athletes to shine in 2026.</p>   <p></p>    <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='2232660' first='Judge' last='Dillow'] is a freak athlete whose success in the weight room transitions over perfectly to the football field. He's incredibly explosive when cutting and exploding out of his breaks, which allows him to get immediate separation in the short to intermediate areas of the field.</p>   <p>Usually, players of his size and build are "more quick than fast", but Dillow is one of the rare specimens who's both agile and has above-average straight line speed. He's also shown some good things at the catch point as well, and does a good job of catching the ball away from his frame.</p>   <p>Dillow is pretty dang impressive as a kick returner as well for Abingdon. He currently has a couple of D1 offers from Cornell and VMI, but he could skyrocket up recruiting boards in 2026 with another big season as a senior. More FCS+ offers are on the horizon for the impressive pass-catcher.</p>   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-x wp-block-embed-x"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/JudgeDillow/status/2067990213633159357?s=20 </div></figure>     <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='1312813' first='Allie' last='Bangura'] has been standing out this offseason at a slew of different camps and showcases in the state. Though he's been impressive on both sides of the ball for BPHS, he'll most likely be a defensive lineman at the collegiate level.</p>   <p>He's already above-average when it comes to hand-fighting and knowing how to influence blockers into overextending, which allows him to club/rip past them more easily. Bangura has heavy hands and packs a powerful punch at the point of attack, which also gives him the upper hand early in each rep, especially against the run. He totaled 30 tackles, 8.5 sacks, 7 TFL, and 16 pressures as a junior in 2025, and he'll undoubtedly begin to rake in some higher-level offers as a senior in 2026.</p>   <p><strong><em>Note</em>: </strong>Bangura is up to around 260 lbs. now.</p>   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-x wp-block-embed-x"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/alliebangurajr/status/2068458398388011296?s=20 </div></figure>     <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='1171993' first='Noah' last='Paxton'] was an absolute thumper at linebacker for Craig County, while also showing off his versatility as a running back on offense as a junior. He totaled a whopping 107 tackles, 19 TFL, 6 sacks, 859 rushing yards, and 8 touchdowns in 9 games last fall. Paxton ended up winning the district DPOY award as well in 2025.</p>   <p>He's an incredibly sound tackler, moves very well in short areas, and does a great job of staying true to his keys as a linebacker. He rarely bites on play-action and takes great angles to the football.</p>   <p>Paxton currently has offers from schools like Ferrum College and Southern Virginia, but if he has another big year as a senior, higher-level programs are going to come knocking.</p>   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-x wp-block-embed-x"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/noah__paxton33/status/2068484489467019556?s=20 </div></figure>     <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='2145791' first='Aaron' last='Sarpong'] recently impressed at the Liberty University camp on 6/14, showing off his speed (4.55 40-time) and ability to completely smother opposing wide receivers with his elite length and physicality.</p>   <p>Not many 6'4" cornerbacks can move the way Sarpong can, and it's easy to see why college coaches have been all over him recently. Skill players with longer legs tend to struggle with lateral movement or short-area quickness, but Sarpong looks fairly smooth in those areas so far. </p>   <p>He's earned offers from Norfolk State and William & Mary over the past month or so, and it's pretty safe to say that he's in line for a lot more as a senior in 2026.</p>   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-x wp-block-embed-x"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/aaronnsarpong03/status/2068857506122604684?s=20 </div></figure>     <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='1513477' first='Will' last='Fedor'] has excellent size and athleticism at center, and he has a natural feel for the position. He's a consistent "dead-ball" snapper who does a lot of things well, specifically when moving to the second level. He's a savvy pass-protector as well.</p>   <p>Fedor is already a polished combo blocker and is patient when advancing to linebackers. He does a good job peeling off at the correct time and is always looking for work downfield. He's great on screens, when pulling, and when reaching gap-over defenders in the zone game as well.</p>   <p>It's puzzling as to why the 2x All-District center doesn't have more collegiate attention right now, but that'll definitely change as a senior.
