The wide receiver runs a 10-yard comeback, but as he comes out of the break, Ferguson is on his hip and breaks up the pass. Nice drive on the ball.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Second rep: Ferguson is lined up in the slot against off-man coverage. Defensive back is aligned with outside leverage. Ferguson releases outside, and the defensive back doesn't get any hands on him as he runs down the hash. He has the defensive back beat by a yard or two, but the ball is underthrown, and the defensive back interferes with him.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Third rep: Facing press coverage at the line of scrimmage, he releases to the outside with no contact. He runs a go-route down the sideline. Ferguson and the defensive back are hand-fighting for at least 10-12 yards and finds a way to make a very contested catch over the outstretched hands of the defensive back face-guarding him. Great concentration to make the catch.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Fourth rep: Faces press coverage at the line of scrimmage but gets off the line freely on a go-route. He runs a 10-yard in route, comes back to the ball, and makes the catch. Israel beats him with the inside release and can get into his corner route. The defensive back tries to hold him but doesn't succeed. The defensive back is aligned outside, guessing that Israel will eventually try to make his way outside. Sure enough, the defensive back guesses that Israel is running a go-route but is wrong. Mann continues up the hash, leaving the defensive back flatfooted, and makes a catch 20-plus yards downfield. Gets good separation on the break.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Second rep: Line up on the outside against press coverage. Does a slight stutter step before releasing off the line of scrimmage. The defensive back doesn't jam, and Quick gets into his 10-yard comeback route to the outside. Tight coverage, but the quarterback throws a nice pass and Quick makes a tiptoe catch near the sidelines.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Third rep: Lined up in the slot against press coverage. Quick gets a free release off the line and runs straight down the hash. He beats the receiver by at least 4-5 yards and catches the pass in stride at least 25-30-plus yards downfield.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Fourth rep: Lined up in the slot against off-man coverage. Quick runs an out and up from 40 yards out; the defensive back is in good position as both jump for the football in the end zone. Quick makes the better adjustment of the ball and makes the catch.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Fifth rep: lined up outside, runs a go-route. As he breaks up field, the defensive back loses his balance, and Tibbs has him beat by at least 5-6 yards, eventually making a catch 25-plus yards downfield. Does a good job of adjusting to an underthrown football to make the catch.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Second rep: Tibbs lined up outside against press coverage. The defensive back takes away the inside but doesn't get a jam on him.
