Prep Redzone Louisiana released its latest 2028 class rankings update Thursday, including a several notable new faces after breakout sophomore years — and high-profile moves into the state.

The debuts on the offensive side included a few promising stars from well-known families and a couple Shreveport standouts picking up major-college steam of their own.

and a pair of recent Power-Four commits, as well as some other talented prospects who possess the potential to follow suit to that high-profile level.

Here's a look at the five highest-debuting offensive standouts in the latest update with one even cracking the top 20, three more in the top 30, and one more narrowly outside that threshold.

[player_tooltip player_id='2234578' first='Ryan' last='Rodgers'] — 6-5, 280 OL — Calvary Baptist

The Cavaliers' big right tackle's top-20 debut includes a long list of distinctions, including the top-debuting offensive lineman, fourth-highest debut among all prospects in this round of updates and addition squarely into the top tier of linemen in the class. Rodgers is a powerful blocker who plays with good balance and motor and boasts a highlight reel loaded with pancakes whether from his explosive initial punch or his continued drive through defenders.

[player_tooltip player_id='2212778' first='Nasir' last='Parker'] — 6-4, 190 WR — Archbishop Shaw

The top-debuting wide receiver in this round of rankings updates in a loaded class at the position is the younger brother of one of the top prospects in Louisiana's loaded 2025 running backs class. Nasir is a taller, longer athlete — in fact, one of the bigger targets in the rising junior wide receiver class with a catch radius that makes him an effective even when defenders can keep in tight coverage. But he is also fluid and speedy enough both to be a threat down the field or to take shorter passes, shake himself free and take off for more yardage after the catch.

[player_tooltip player_id='1225686' first='Knox' last='Kiffin'] — 6-2, 180 QB — University Lab

and [player_tooltip player_id='2234591' first='Kevin' last='Smith Jr.'] — 5-11, 175 WR — University Lab

The sons of new LSU head coach Lane Kiffin and running backs coach Kevin Smith arrive to Baton Rouge together with multiple Power-Four programs already on their respective offer lists. And while their most extensive and significant opportunity to showcase their talent won't come until this fall, the duo has shown some promising flashes — of both their respective traits and their chemistry — in spring practices and some summer 7-on-7 session. Knox is a bigger, more athletic quarterback than some might realize before seeing him in person and has the arm to make any throw on the field, while K.J. is a balanced weapon with the speed to stretch the field, body control to make twisting catches in the air and the quickness and contact balance to make defenders miss and rack up additional yardage with the ball in his hands.

[player_tooltip player_id='1375193' first='Cardelrio' last='Coleman'] — 6-1, 170 WR — Evangel Christian

Coleman debuted this week as a top-30 prospect overall and No. 7 wide receiver in the state's loaded class at the position after a sophomore season in which he racked up some of the most electric film of the whole bunch. His quickness and explosiveness help him create separation all over the field both with his route-running and after the catch where he shows the ability to elude defenders in even tight quarters and burst upfield for huge chunks of additional yardage. Coleman tracks the ball well and shows strong hands to snatch even hard-thrown balls out the air in stride to maximize his opportunities. And he possesses notable potential in the return game or on defense as well to only further bolster his value as a prospect.
