A high-motored, fast and quick edge prospect, he is a 5-foot-11, 245-pound rusher who takes great pursuit angles to the quarterback, wraps up, and is a proven tackler and stout against the run. Blackshear totaled 103 tackles and a league-leading eight sacks with three forced fumbles. He may start off at the lower levels, and depending on his progress, hit the portal and become a D1 player. 6-foot-3, 190-pound corner in the Class of 2027 with good coverage skills. Good open-field tackler. Has ability to undercut routes and make plays on the ball for pass breakups. Also a solid tackler if the ‘back bounces outside.
