The early portion of the summer is the time when we adjust rankings at Prep Redzone, and here are the June players moving up through the rankings for the class of 2027.

[player_tooltip player_id='457238' first='Treyson' last='Reith']-Tight End-Har-Ber-6'3” 230-Pounds

[player_tooltip player_id='457238' first='Treyson' last='Reith'] is a prospect who can line up at tight end or being split out to play the receiver position. Reith does a great job of creating separation from opposing defenders. He works his way open for his quarterback. Reith is a threat to score in the red zone, but he is a big play threat from anywhere on the field. Reith is a prospect who continues to build recruiting momentum and is a player to watch throughout the 2026 season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1586103' first='Eli' last='Thornton']-Defensive Line-Valley View-6'4” 300-Pounds

[player_tooltip player_id='1586103' first='Eli' last='Thornton'] has not slowed down one bit from an impressive 2025 football season. He does a great job of clogging up the rushing lanes. Thornton mixes his power well with quickness and can rush the passer. He is able to disrupt the rushing as well as the passing attack of the opponent. Thornton drives blockers backward and has no problem impacting the game on the defensive side of the ball. Thornton is a major prospect to watch this upcoming season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1669851' first='Samuel' last='Nelson']-Edge-Bryant-6'3” 220-Pounds

The Bryant Hornets are always loaded on the defensive side of the ball, and the 2026 season will prove to be no different. [player_tooltip player_id='1669851' first='Samuel' last='Nelson'] fires out of the stance quickly. He has the speed to terrorize opposing quarterbacks. Nelson sheds blocks quickly and can disrupt the run or the pass. Nelson has a high motor. He does not give up on a play and I expect a big season from the Bryant defender.

[player_tooltip player_id='1683284' first='Ashton' last='Jones']-Defensive Back-Bentonville West-6'1” 170-Pounds

[player_tooltip player_id='1683284' first='Ashton' last='Jones'] is a prospect who has exploded this offseason from a recruiting perspective. He has the versatility to play anywhere in the defensive secondary. Jones does a great job of reading the opposing wide receivers and quarterback. Jones is physical enough in the secondary to separate the ball from the ball carrier. The Colorado State commit has the potential for a big 2026 season in the Bentonville West secondary.

[player_tooltip player_id='1189935' first='Reece' last='Simpson']-Quarterback-Joe T. Robinson-6'2” 195-Pounds

[player_tooltip player_id='1189935' first='Reece' last='Simpson'] has thrown the football well this offseason at numerous camps. He has a strong arm and is not afraid to test the opposing secondary with a vertical shot downfield. Simpson reads coverages well. The Robinson signal caller knows where to go with the football. He knows when to escape the pocket and does a great job of keeping his eyes downfield. The Robinson quarterback is a prospect to watch out for this upcoming season.
