Precision FBA Saginaw Pop Up: Stock Raisers Pt. 2

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Coach Lacanaria from East Kentwood and Coach Carson from West Ottawa hosted another collab session, this time at Nouvel Catholic Central High School in Saginaw. A good number of playmakers were in attendance, below are some prospects that showed out!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2142695' first='Lukas' last='Nemec']-2028 QB Petoskey HS</strong></em></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This prospect immediately passes the eye test when you see him. Standing at 6'2" 205 pounds he is the perfect specimen to play at the next level. Lukas has what many would describe as a cannon of an arm. Standing near him while he was performing, you could almost feel the velocity and heat coming off the ball as it left his hands. Aside from all of his other traits, what also impressed me a lot was his footwork and how he looked rolling out to the left and the right. The ball still looks like it was jumping out of his hands without setting his base. His off platform throws still have a crazy amount of zip and RPMs, I believe that is a testament to his technique, tight mechanics and overall strength.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong><em>Noah Alekov-Pich 2026 QB Southlake HS</em></strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Noah to me seems like a very underrated QB in the 2026 class, though I'm sure he will find a spot on a college roster pretty soon. He has good size, standing at 6'4", with good intangibles to go along with it. He has very good movement in the pocket, can move up, back and rollout either direction. With that being said, I think his feathery light touch is the best skill he possesses. His accuracy was on display the entire camp. Receivers are able to run under his passes without ever breaking stride. Almost every fade ball I saw him throw hit the up-field or outside shoulder of the receiver he was throwing to. Wherever Noah ends up playing his collegiate ball, his OC will be in for a treat!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong><em>Samir Taylor-2028 WR</em></strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Samir Taylor looked like one of the best overall athletes in attendance, I would definitely say he was the fastest prospect that I laid eyes on. However, with his athletic ability came some finesse and skill as well. He has good solids hands pulling in different type of passes from different quarterbacks. He did a really good job tracking balls that were thrown over his shoulder, which is a very underrated skill to have as a receiver. With what he showcased at this camp, I can only imagine what Taylor looks like with pads on and the ball in his hands.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong><em>[player_tooltip player_id='1757023' first='Gage' last='Fargo']-2029 WR Davison HS</em></strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I think Gage is a really good overall receiver. Without seeing him play in pads, it looks like he has a good understanding of how to play the receiver position. I say that because of the attention to detail he displayed and the tempo he moved with during the individual portions. His footwork was on point all camp, never stepping outside of his base or frame and the leverage he showed getting to and through breaks was really sharp. As he gets older and continues to develop, he may turn into the "jack of all trades" type receiver. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong><em>[player_tooltip player_id='2225260' first='Colton' last='Sims']-2029 QB Walled Lake Central</em></strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This 2029 prospect was the baby of the bunch, but you absolutely could not tell by his performance. From positional drills to routes on air, he was able to hold his own. He impressed me by being able to make the "big boy" throws like throwing hash to opposite sideline, and the 2 ball which is over linebackers but in front of safeties. As he develops more arm strength, he will definitely be a force to be reckoned with. So far, the Walled Lake Central product seems very poised at the most important position on the field.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong><em>Stephon Hendrix-2029 WR Davison</em></strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Coming into this camp, after watching his film, I considered Stephon to be a better DB than WR, I left Nouvel feeling differently! He was silky smooth with impeccable footwork. I watched him run many different routes in the route tree and almost all of them looked flawless. He has great size as a freshman which just adds to his toolbox. The hands were there as I didn't see any body catches.
