Twelve different guys have verbally committed to Power 4 programs. Quite a few others have pledged to FBS and FCS schools.   Even with those sizable numbers, a lot of talent from the state for the cycle remains in the board. The Situation: Tiffey is built like a tank at 6-feet, 275 pounds. He <a href="https://www.hudl.com/video/3/19184089/68f9873e3d533836b9a9acfc" id="https://www.hudl.com/video/3/19184089/68f9873e3d533836b9a9acfc">wins with leverage and power</a> that could work on the next level at defensive tackle or in the middle of the offensive line. A three-year varsity starter heading into his senior season this fall, Tiffey has a lot to offer colleges. Schools are taking notice and evaluating. He could find more suitors with a big senior season.   Tiffey has put his best foot forward this offseason, recently taking part in the South Dakota State mega camp and a camp at Buena Vista, who in April offered him an opportunity to play there after he visited the school. He visited Morningside in March and was invited to Central College.   [player_tooltip player_id='1360027' first='Caleb' last='Hogan'], QB/ATH, Wapsie Valley   Announced offers: None.   The Situation: Hogan is a prospect colleges are sleeping on. There's an opportunity to develop him at quarterback, where he threw for 1,080 yards and 15 passing touchdowns with three more scores on the ground in helping Wapsie Valley reach the Class 1A state semifinals last year. His potential shines through during his <a href="https://www.hudl.com/video/3/17337150/6967d4f3e26c3652c254ba9a" id="https://www.hudl.com/video/3/17337150/6967d4f3e26c3652c254ba9a">junior highlight video</a>. There's potential for him to switch positions if it doesn't work out behind center. He's a good athlete that reached the state track meet in the discus and shot put.   Hogan's college interest has been surprisingly modest. Other than a junior day visit to Wartburg in April, he hasn't announced any other interactions with programs on the next level. The Situation: I got to see Pike in action when North Scott visited Cedar Rapids Washington last season. He was part of an offensive line that dominated the Warriors in the run game. He flashed power and physicality in winning his matchup, which he <a href="https://www.hudl.com/video/3/19886545/68cc216665014d0acedb091f" id="https://www.hudl.com/video/3/19886545/68cc216665014d0acedb091f">accomplished through the campaign</a>. It's a package that could benefit programs on the next level.   Colleges have been slow to move on Pike, who might see an uptick in attention if he puts together strong early-season film in the fall. He did get out to junior days at Monmouth College and Wartburg, and was invited to Carthage College and UW-Whitewater. The Situation: First, we at Prep Redzone have Caves ranked too low relative to talent. I watched him run against Regina last year and saw first hand that the ability was notable. He's a two-time, first-team all-state pick at running back, and that certainly can be his college position. With his speed and athleticism, however, a future on a secondary should not be ruled out. He'll contribute early on special teams no matter where he goes.   Western Illinois and Sioux Falls were wise to offer scholarships. He should have more of them. Iowa State played host to him on a visit last September, and he stopped at Northwest Missouri State junior day in February. Brown visited him at his high school during May.   [player_tooltip player_id='2084793' first='Dominic' last='Cabildo'], CB/WR, Urbandale   Announced offers: None.   The Situation: Cabildo is another student-athlete flying too far below the recruiting radar relative to talent and potential. He was one of Urbandale's best defenders last season while also contributing as a receiver and on special teams. In many ways, he's a blank canvas that can be developed on the next level in multiple phases with speed and quickness being his top traits. He was fifth in the 4A 100 meters at the state track meet.   The camp schedule since the end of May included stops at Northern Iowa, Drake, South Dakota State's mega camp and Minnesota State-Moorhead, where he also took in a junior day in the spring. UNI, Morningside, Ottawa, Dordt and Northwestern College also played host to him this offseason.
