Set to be a four-year starter for Missouri Valley, Carter Tiffey Carter Tiffey 6'0" | 275 lbs | DL/OL Missouri Valley | 2027 State IA effectively used his 6-foot, 275-pound frame to win one-on-one matchups on the defensive line for the Big Reds.

Able to shed multiple blockers in one play with his upper body strength, Tiffey grabs opposing OL and throws them to the turf like it’s nothing. That, and if/when the ball reaches the perimeter, Tiffey doesn’t stop and wait for defensive backs to make the play — he takes off and gives 100% effort to track down the ball-carrier. That shows the intangible side of the game, and checks off a major box when it comes to how much effort he brings to the table.

Tiffey is a small-school prospect with big upside on both sides of the trench. On defense, he racked up 35.5 tackles this fall with 32 of the stops being solo. He posted 9.5 tackles for loss, 4.0 sacks and a fumble recovery. Tiffey also was a force on the O-Line, where he was credited with three pancake blocks. Tiffey looks the part during his 11th-grade highlight video, which feature his defensive clips. The junior is a bull in the middle of the line, mixing power and agility to disrupt the opponent’s plans. Tiffey gets off the ball quickly and moves well laterally. He keeps the pads low and regularly achieves a leverage advantage.
