Norris 7v7 Tournament | Norris V and JV Standouts

There were nine different teams in attendance and 10 teams in total (Norris V and JV) that filled up the stadium with high-flying action from start to finish. Evan was absolutely dealing the rock as he carved up defenses with precision. He has consistently shown the arm strength and talent to attack all three levels of the field and deliver with great placement/timing. He can find receivers in stride, throw to a spot, and layer it over defenders. Evan looks solid from a mechanics standpoint with a sturdy base, clean footwork, and smooth throwing motion. Greenfield is very mobile, and although we didn't get to see him scramble in 7v7, he did a great job evading pressure and extending plays with his legs. Anden is a big, strong pass catcher at 6'5" and 225 pounds with a lengthy wingspan that gives him a very QB-friendly catch radius. On top of having the size advantage, Papik also has strong hands and can be the more physical receiver at the catch point. This was a non-contact event, but you can tell when the pads come on, it's going to take wayyy more than just a two-hand touch to bring him down on initial contact. Greyson was super comfortable in his connection with QB Greenfield, and it showed as he was one of the go-to targets on offense. Addison stood out with his route-running ability and quick twitch at the top of his route. He's also able to tuck the ball and explode upfield to tack on some extra YAC. He attacks the ball with his hands and does a good job following through the catch process. He stood out immediately on the JV squad with a taller, lengthier 6'5' and 195-pound frame. His size advantage and ability to elevate over defenders make him a reliable target in jump ball or redzone situations. There are still some green areas in his route-running, but he moved faster/better than some of the LBs covering him, which allowed him to spring open.
