We evaluated Anden as a defensive lineman earlier this week, and now we got a better look at him playing tight end. Anden is a big, strong pass catcher at 6’5″ and 225 pounds with a lengthy wingspan that gives him a very QB-friendly catch radius. On top of having the size advantage, Papik also has strong hands and can be the more physical receiver at the catch point. This was a non-contact event, but you can tell when the pads come on, it’s going to take wayyy more than just a two-hand touch to bring him down on initial contact. His combination of size and athleticism makes him a reliable target over the middle of the field and redzone situations.

Norris Anden Papik Anden Papik 6'5" | 225 lbs | DL/TE Norris | 2027 State NE has been catching the attention of several programs this offseason, earning a solid offer list so far. The Norris prospect had a solid junior season in which he recorded 27 tackles, three TFLs, three sacks, and three forced fumbles. Anden stands out immediately with his taller, leaner frame at 6’5″, 225 pounds with excellent length to play the edge and square off with tackles. He is able to win at the LOS using his twitch to finesse his way into opposing backfields. Once he’s able to disengage from his opponent, Papik does a great job using his explosive burst to close on the ball carrier quickly. Anden is solid at the point of contact with good tackling technique and power to deliver some mean licks. Anden could also see an increased role on offense where his size and athleticism will make him a matchup nightmare for opposing defenses. Papik has earned offers from Minnesota State-Mankato, Missouri Western State, Sioux Falls, Nebraska-Kearney, Northwest Missouri State, and Wayne State. Get after this guy ASAP!
