Norris 7v7 Tournament | Millard West Standouts

There were nine different teams in attendance and 10 teams in total (Norris V and JV) that filled up the stadium with high-flying action from start to finish. His mobility and quick instincts allow him to lurk over the middle of the field before sharply breaking on the ball to defend passes. He is quick to pick up on passing concepts and did a good job communicating on defense. I didn't have a ton of info on Ayden going into the day, but I left very impressed. He is a taller cornerback with the length that college coaches will look for at the next level. Like his teammate Jonah, Ayden also had a huge pick-six that helped flip the game on its head. His longer reach and larger frame allow him to jam receivers at the line of scrimmage and give him a wider radius for defending passes in the air. Trapper is primarily a running back, but was able to show off his receiving chops a bit today. He is the type of back who you can motion out of the backfield and into the slot, where he can run solid routes and help keep the chains moving. Trapper's strong hands and willingness to attack the ball make him a reliable target over the middle of the field. He commanded the offense well and did a solid job when working through his progressions. There are still some growing pains, but overall, Cade showed that he can deliver a catchable ball and can place it where the receiver can go up to get it.
