One of a few South Dakotans in attendance at the Minnesota Gophers Prospect Camp was Brandon Valley 2030 Palmer Torgrude in the wide receiver group. Palmer might not have been the biggest wide receiver out there, but amongst the 2030 wide receivers I got to watch on Tuesday night, he had not only some of the best hands I saw in the live eval, but I was impressed with how this kid fought for the ball in the high-traffic balls that were thrown his way. Surely was one 2030 that I thought played above his measurables and size. Will be one to keep on my radar as we start preparing our 2030 South Dakota rankings.

One of a couple under the radar cornerbacks that caught my attention on Tuesday night in Dinkytown came from Moorhead 2028 [player_tooltip player_id='1740902' first='Emmanuel' last='Geebli']. Emmanuel was one that intrigued me in the live reps with his aggressive yet balanced physicality he showed off in 1v1 pass coverage. He was one that showed he could overwhelm with his presence and slow down the progression of the route once it turned into the second level. He's got impressive explosiveness with his broad jump number and in my eyes, has intriguing upside that could surely grow coming out of a powerhouse program like Moorhead.

Micah was a 2028 linebacker that got onto my radar late while watching the linebacker group on Tuesday night, but yet made his best impression in the live eval. He's not the biggest linebacker on our radar from Tuesday night in Dinkytown, but I had written down that Micah brought a "bulldog" mentality when he got downhill against the running back group on a few reps I got to watch. Surely a Blaine Bengal to watch for in his junior season that's developed nicely this already this offseason.

One of a few Monticello linebackers that cracked my notebook in Part 2 of the Minnesota Gophers prospect camp was Monticello 2028 [player_tooltip player_id='2084832' first='Allen' last='Lloyd']. The 6'2 205 pounder showed off the skillsets in the live eval that showed off a downhill linebacker that surely can pack a punch when he makes contact with the ball carrier and showed off with some of the biggest hands in the LB group surely in the 2028 class which showed off that translation on contact. Allen has some upside when it comes to his change of direction, but his testing numbers were solid amongst the 2028 LB group in Dinkytown as one that surely should move off the watchlist with the verifed size and live eval he put together on Tuesday night.

I didn't spend as much time as I would have liked with the quarterbacks on Tuesday night at the Minnesota Gophers Prospect Camp as I would have liked, but the reps I caught out of Coon Rapids 2027 quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1581335' first='Aidan' last='Snow'] caught my eye. The throw he made along the edges caught the quick attention of college coaches in attendance, as it was an extremely tight window but Aidan made that throw seem more seamless with how he has improved with his poise and the ball plaements he had on Tuesday night. The 2-time team captain for Coon Rapids, surely should get some growing next-level attention from his outing a couple nights ago in Dinkytown as I like the growth Aidan's made since his last live eval I a little under a year ago.

A linebacker that jumped out quickly to me with his live eval at the Minnesota Gophers Prospect Camp was Woodbury 2027 [player_tooltip player_id='1524668' first='Nolan' last='Freymiller'], who I feel is one that is under recruited in the 2027 class despite having one offer. Nolan was excellent across the board for his size in the testing period as he was likely in the top-tier for top testers amongst the 2027 linebacker group. What impressed me most during the live eval of Nolan, was just how rangy this young man was and that was persistent across the few reps that I got to watch in the linebacker group. He's showed off explosive traits with his get off as a prospect that I feel has great position flexibility for college coaches to figure out between linebacker and safety at the next-level. Holds one NSIC offer at the moment, and hopefully what college coaches saw at the Minnesota Gophers Prospect Camp, elevates his stock.

A 2027 wide receiver out of Anoka that I feel has rising stock this spring into summer is [player_tooltip player_id='652574' first='Darren' last='Nyanyuki']. He's got very long arms that he displayed quickly in his reps that I watched out of the wide receiver group on Tuesday night. He impressed me most with the mix of how he utilized his growing hands thru contact and also had the burning explosiveness (which tested top-tier amongst WRs in the broad jump) to get seperation with ease in the reps I watched. He's got one D3 offer at the moment, and I surely think he's one that should get some scholarship-schools attention this summer as his outing at the Minnesota Gophers Prospect Camp, painted a great start to his summer on the camp trail.

Carson just picked up his first D1 offer this week, and without a doubt this young man should have more coming his way as he caught the attention of both PRZ scouts in attendance for what he showed off at the Minnesota Gophers Prospect Camp. Carson is not one you will miss on the eye test, as we've been saying that for awhile now but man, getting to watch him during the testing period he was on another level against his position group. The live reps at camps too, keep developing as Carson showed off as one of the most relentless finishers in reps I watched in camp on Tuesday night in Dinkytown. He has the Grade A character you want in your locker room and the outstanding work ethic too.

One of the more impressive Wisconsin names that picked up two D2 offers after the Minnesota Gophers Prospect Camp in the 2027 class, was Hudson's [player_tooltip player_id='1633408' first='Delani' last='Oreso']. Talk about a wide receiver that could get defensive backs off-balance in a hurry as this young man's change of direction was no joke from the jump especially around the top of his route. He also was eye-catching in the testing period with what you would think, his explosivness was evident in his broad jumping ability. Delani is one that you can see it's evident that he's been working on his craft this offseason as he showed off when it mattered most with one of the biggest college coach attendances you'll see in the Midwest at camp in the summer at Minnesota.

If there was a 2028 Minnesota prospect that made the biggest impression at the Minnesota Gophers Prospect Camp, it was Monticello's Johnny Moore who rightfully so picked up his first Division 1 offer after camp on Tuesday night in Dinkytown. I was very impressed with Johnny in a few ways during his live evals on Tuesday night, as showed off excellent ball-tracking ability and constantly stopped running backs quickly in their tracks persistently on Tuesday. He also showed off excellent twitch in the testing period which the translation to the live reps were evident, as Johnny impressed even with how he adjusted quickly to the ball with his sound instincts. He surely was one of our top performers on Tuesday night for a reason.
