The story of the day is Fishers High School Class of 2029 tight end [player_tooltip player_id='1172774' first='Max' last='Hopkins'], who turned heads with his athletic ability, height, size, and frame. Hopkins, who also plays basketball for the highly-successful Tigers hoops team, is a legit 6-foot-8 tight end with great hands and adjustment the ball. He can leap, high-point, and make catches over the middle of the field, and wins one-on-one battles consistently. Needs to develop some speed and juice. More offers are to be expected after Toledo, Indiana and Purdue pulled the trigger after the camp.

[player_tooltip player_id='1369029' first='Mac' last='Taylor'] was a key name to watch amongst the offensive line in one-on-ones. Taylor has a mean streak as a run blocker, but stood out today for his strength in pass pro, his ability to play with a base and mirror rushers in one-on-ones. Class of 2028 recruit is a key returning starter for Roncalli next season who should develop into a top prospect. He picked up offers from Akron and Miami University (Ohio).

[player_tooltip player_id='2227854' first='Donovan' last='Whitehead'] was a bit of a revelation. Tall, long and rangy, the 6-foot-6 tight end/defensive end for Silver Creek High School was an early standout in one-on-ones. Whitehead is very twitchy with a quick first step, can bend and dip around the corner and displays good use of hands. On offense he is used as a tight end where he flashes good hands over the middle of the field. Still learning the game – just started playing football last year and is a standout on the basketball court, too – but has a chance with his size and athleticism to be a potential prospect. Name to monitor heading into his senior year.

It was a busy weekend for Lawrence North offensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id='2226353' first='Luke' last='Tatum'], who added an offer from Saginaw Valley State after the Indy Mega Camp one day after earning an offer from Hillsdale at Miami's Academic Mega Camp. Tatum has a quick first step, plays with a mean streak, and is a good blocker who can drive his feet on contact. Probably fits inside as a guard at the college level; he is a key returning starter for Lawrence North ahead of 2026.

Brownsburg High School wide receiver Brandon Jones Jr. stood out with his speed, juice and athletic ability during one-on-ones. It's still early in the process, but Kent State felt they saw enough to give him his first offer. Jones displays good downfield speed, acceleration past the 2nd level, and is a good route runner who wins on-on-one matchups. Good hands and speed to work on his own over the middle of the field. We'll see how he grows over the next couple of seasons.
