Hughes is returning as one of the to quarterbacks in the area, showing incredible poise, athleticism, and decision making last season. He has shown toughness and has the ability to lead his team in crucial moments to victory. Hughes has excellent command of the ball and surrounded by an insanely talented skill group, putting him in great position to succeed by taking care of his business.

Skaer transfers to College Park and immediately adds to an already dangerous offensive unit. The 6'5 athlete is a do-it-all type of player. He is a physical blocker, a safety valve, and a reliable target who can dominate up the seams and in the middle of the field. With players such as Clemson-commit Cromartie and Snodgrass leading the receiving group, Skaer may have the opportunity to take advantage of the mismatches he will face and thrive in the high-octane Cavalier offense.

Houston-commit Baker has developed and grown his game every off-season. He has become one of the most surgical quarterbacks in the area with his precision and ability to protect the ball. Baker is a seasoned quarterback who has developed great chemistry with his receivers due to shared experience and throwing to the same guys over the years. This gives the Mustang offense an edge heading into the fall. Baker has the talen as well as the weapons to lead this team far.

One of his top targets is North Texas-commit [player_tooltip player_id='1247962' first='Manny' last='Leyja']. Leyja has been one of the more productive receivers who isn't mentioned enough. He is a baller, true playmaker, and a guy who will show up in the biggest moments. He is an excellent deep ball threat who will win any contested catch situation and be there when his quarterback needs it. Leyja and Baker drew many eyes during the 7v7 State Tournament but at this point it's just regular thing with these two. Big year coming from this duo.

Aguirre had an impressive campaign last season, leading the way for a strong post-season run. He showed much growth in his game and numerous plays standing in the pocket. Aguirre showed much confidence in his play and the arm talent was undeniable. The Gators remain a strong contender with Aguirre at the helm and as long as he is dealing the team will be favorites in every matchup.

It would be easy to recognize and highlight Payne as the standout target that he is, but we need to have a conversation about Hasker. A 6'5, athletic, bouncy weapon who wins at the catch-point and is a massive target for his quarterback. Hasker has shown strength, fighting through contact at the line and possesses the straight line speed to outrun a secondary. Hasker wins outside the numbers and will cause issues in single coverage. He will be an interesting player to follow come fall and seeing how this connection develops will be watched closely.

QB [player_tooltip player_id='1576312' first='Tristin' last='Gaines'] - WR [player_tooltip player_id='1614766' first='Makhy' last='Adams'] | Waller

Gaines has been a popular name for the last few seasons now. Strong arm paired with high level processing just starts to describe this talented young star. He is a playmaker both inside and outside of the pocket and shows no fear in letting the ball rip. Gaines is a highly sought-after quarterback who will continue to lead the Bulldogs to higher levels with the talent around him.

The Bulldog offense currently has a multitude of weapons including Mbobile and Tshitenge, but after his 7v7 showing, [player_tooltip player_id='1614766' first='Makhy' last='Adams'] needs to be discussed. This young, talented receiver is a jump-ball specialist who snatches the ball out of the air. Strong hands with incredible body control, Adams emerges as another playmaker at the position. This connection has the potential to light the fireworks.

Hinson has been one of the most productive quarterbacks in the area for the last few seasons. Great size at the position with a live arm. Hinson navigates the pocket well and gets the ball out with a quick release. He is a guy who plays with grit and will get the job done.

Wehby, an ultra-productive athlete, just so happens to be Hinson's top target. Wehby is a shifty, elusive player who dominates in space. Out of the slot he is a challenge for any defense trying to cover him. Wehby is quick out of his routes and provides an easy target for his quarterback. He is an explosive player who can take the pressure of the game away for his QB. This duo has the ability to be one of the best in the area.
