The top running back from Lawrence Central flipped his commitment from Miami-Ohio to Purdue. The Boilers were a bit late on the action in offering the 5-foot-8. 180-pound prospect, but make no mistake: he's a legitimate Power 4 prospect who dominates on Friday nights. Kerns is a big-time playmaker who excels all over the field; he is a great open-field tackler, possesses good ball skills, and is a dynamic kick returner in space. He picked up an offer from the Aggies, and gave Texas A&amp;M his verbal pledge. Day, who we saw at the team's college day last spring, has good first-step quickness, very disruptive defensive lineman who can reach the QB and make tackles behind the line of scrimmage. McQuillan is a physical blocker who drives his feet on contact as an H-back, and has soft hands as a receiver with ability to be a threat in the passing game.
