2028 Gridiron Stock Up Prospects.

As contact between college recruiters and the 2028 class take off , lets take a look at some prospects that I think are being under valued early on in the process.    Another day another Romeo linebacker popping up on the radar. Antonio is a linebacker I have become a big fan of. One thing that immediately stands out is his ability to drop into coverage and react to the ball and get a hand on the pass. A lot of linebackers struggle in pass coverage but it's rare that a 2028 backer has these ball skills so early. Antonio is a very twitchy athlete that comes down hill and delivers big hits on the running backs. This would be a linebacker I would jump on now. A big strong athlete that can run and hit doesnt come around all that often , and won't be on the market long.     Grayson is exactly what you would draw up if you're looking for a big time defensive back. The GRCC defensive back has range like a safety but skills like a lock down corner. I am impressed with Grayson's fluid hips in his back pedal and the power in which he comes out of his breaks. Grayson show's an excellent ability to mirror wide outs and has excellent ball skills to make a play and get a big turnover. I suspect Graysons offer list explodes this summer and fall.     Kingston is a player I have seen a few times this summer and he brings a wow factor to the field. Kingston run's precise routes and has strong hands to make catches in traffic. On one occasion Kingston went up in a double team and made a one handed catch that would make Sunday pass catchers envious. There is no denying this young mans ability to change a game in a blink of an eye. Big time player that will make big times played this fall. Big time offers are sure to follow.     Julian has emerged as a lock down corner that can play in any scheme at the next level. Julian took home MVP honors at the Prep RedZone camp at Lawrence tech in early may. His ability to get a physical jam at the line of scrimmage and stay in phase with speedy wide outs is already next level skill. I was also impressed with Julians ability to battle taller wide outs and not get out matched. He made multiple plays on 50/50 balls and did not lose a rep at the event. Julian is a name to watch this fall for the eaglets and offers show roll in for this 2028 DB.     Take one good look at Jonah's on field production and that should be enough to offer this young man. His summer circuit has done nothing to hurt his cause either. Jonah has good top end speed and makes good shifty cuts in tight spaces. Jonah is a back that can handle 20 plus carries a game but also has excellent hands out of the backfield. Jonah is the all purpose back any college coaching staff would want. I suspect a big fall and offers to roll in for him.
