There were multiple breakdowns recently posted at PRZ talking on the region's top athletes who are registered and likely to excel on the upcoming collegiate camp circuit. Here we rank 10 of those kids + a few sleepers, who could land their first D1 offer, starting with the NW Showcase at Western Oregon, the largest camp on the west coast.

1.[player_tooltip player_id='1609596' first='Brady' last='Knips'] 28' 6-5 210 TE Tualatin OR

Reasoning: As mentioned multiple times already, I think Knips is going to be a major D1 recruit with double digit offers. I expect him to be in the MVP conversation at the NW Showcase and be one of the most talked about athletes in attendance. You can't teach the size and the unmatched versatility that he possesses. He was an all-conference athlete on both sides of the ball as a sophomore and has the potential of being the state's #1 prospect for his class before all is said and done.

2.[player_tooltip player_id='2090565' first='Brady' last='Nichols'] 28' 6-6 270 DL/T Mountain View OR

Reasoning: Nichols is a physical specimen who has the potential to blow up if he continues to progress from a mobility standpoint. The 2nd team all-league tackle looks like he can play on either side of the ball at the highest level, providing universities options. This Mountain View team should be considered a 5A title favorite and potentially the best group ever to come through the school. On the recruiting front Nichols could have a life changing month June.

3.[player_tooltip player_id='1715759' first='Jackson' last='Ingram'] 27' 6-6 220 TE South Eugene OR

Reasoning: Watch the film. Ingram defied all the odds performing incredibly well for a program that went winless, carrying only 15 active players at the end of the year. He will project at TE, but his ability to move at 6-6 could easily have him listed on the defensive side of the ball, making numerous plays from his edge spot. He will be a D1 guy.

4.[player_tooltip player_id='2079649' first='Cade' last='Ellis'] 29' 6-7 315 T Silverton OR

Reasoning: There is still a lot of work that needs to be done, but "Shrek" has game changing size and could be a massive recruit if he can show the fluidity necessary to perform at the highest level. Even if he isn't where he needs to be from a mobility standpoint yet, you can project that he will be a difference maker collegiately once he puts it all together. An early offer wouldn't surprise me.

5.[player_tooltip player_id='1727670' first='Max' last='Bridges'] 27' 6-2 225 OLB/DE Glacier Peak WA

Reasoning: From a straight up production standpoint Bridges has been as good as anybody in the NW. He has excelled for the FSP program over the offseason against top national competition. This after making 44 tackles, with 10 TFL's, and an unreal 18 sacks during the regular season. He doesn't have prototypical DE size but can play OLB and makes up for that in multiple ways. Look for FCS schools to pursue him heavily.

6.[player_tooltip player_id='1878396' first='Aidan' last='Galusha'] 27' 6-1 210 LB Dallas OR

Reasoning: The Conference D lineman of the year can flat out fly, recently running a 10.9 100 meters with 4.48 40-yard dash. He will be an Oregon 5A POY favorite heading into next season as I would expect multiple Big Sky's to start making their intentions known sooner than later. Galusha has done a phenomenal job of getting himself out on the camp circuit and should make a significant jump up the rankings board when updated.

7.Ernest Populus III 27' 6-4 290 OL O'Dea WA

Reasoning: The big man earned 1st team all-conference honors and came back in a big way after a knee injury ended his season in week 7. He has had an outstanding offseason thus far as part of the FSP program and can play multiple spots up front at the next level, likely projecting as more of a guard. When you play with one of the best lines in state history at O'Dea, you can't help but get better.

8.[player_tooltip player_id='1691685' first='Jayland' last='Coleman'] 27' 6-3 215 LB Woodinville WA

Reasoning: I like Coleman to be a solid FCS guy. If you look at his production from last year 90+ tackles, 7 TFL's, 3 sacks and impressive testing (37' vert, 10 foot broad, 11.3 100 meters) you see an individual that could end up being even better collegiately. Many schools recruit the best overall athletes they can find, and he fits that mold, while also bringing legit size to the table and being a leader on and off the field.

9.[player_tooltip player_id='1609764' first='Sam' last='Robbins'] 28' 6-5 195 TE/WR Valley Catholic OR

Reasoning: A lot will depend on Robbins future growth and development, but he continues to get out and compete against the NW's top competition which is necessary. At 6-5 he has the frame to add some significant size, while largely already proving what type of athlete he is in football & basketball.

10.[player_tooltip player_id='1601596' first='Ashton' last='Randall'] 28' 6-2 210 LB Estacada OR

Reasoning: It's not always easy getting recruited playing Oregon 4A football, but I like Randall to eventually end up at the division 1 level and make his Estacada community proud. Some people play with a chip on their shoulder and carry themselves differently, which is one of the reasons I see him making noise at the next level. As a sophomore, he earned 1st team all-conference & all-state honors at LB while rushing for 9 touchdowns offensively.

[player_tooltip player_id='2054681' first='Oliver' last='Holverson'] 27' TE/DE 6-5 235 Jesuit OR

Reasoning: The two-way threat will end up at the D1 level. Whether that's at a high-end academic type institution, or at the FCS level is yet to be determined. You have to like the size and his ability to be dominant on either side of the ball. He was a 1st team all Metro selection on O and D.

[player_tooltip player_id='1560665' first='Brevik' last='Hill'] 27' WR/DB 5-11 175 Grants Pass OR

Reasoning: It will likely be later down the road from an offer standpoint, but I could see Hill starting in the Big Sky for a couple years and doing well. The South-Central Conference POY on offense might end up on D collegiately. He was a 1st team all league selection on both sides of the ball and can even golf. Essentially he's good at whatever he does.

[player_tooltip player_id='1609761' first='Tyler' last='Holmes'] 28' LB 6-1 215 West Linn OR

Reasoning: Holmes is a top 10 recruit in the state of Oregon for the 2028 class, and I could see him being the TRL Defensive POY this coming season. We've talked about him a lot after blowing up at last year's NW Showcase. He will be back again to show what he can do.
