Tuesday Takeover: 2028 Prospects Catching Our Eye

Welcome back!   In this week's Tuesday Takeover, we're highlighting some of the new talented 2028s we added to our list this week.   Make sure to watch some of their film below- they're all coming off huge years and need to be on everyone's list going into this fall.    [player_tooltip player_id='1185065' first='Jordan' last='Jackson'] is a talented 2028 at BC Rain who had a breakout season at CB this past fall.   "[player_tooltip player_id='1185065' first='Jordan' last='Jackson'] is a talented coverage corner who can cause tons of trouble for opposing WRs. Jackson is especially impressive in press man- he's physical at the line of scrimmage, has impressive speed and quickness, and provides big hits/uses his hands to break up passes all over the field.   Jackson is great at tracking and making plays on the ball. He has an impressive set of hands and vertical he uses to climb up and rip passes away for INTs. When you see just how valuable a defender he is in coverage, there's a ton to be excited about with him heading forward."   I was really impressed with Jackson's sophomore year. He showed a ton of skill and potential last fall, it's evident he's going to cause offenses a ton of trouble this year.      [player_tooltip player_id='2207237' first='Terran' last='Gaines'] is an up-and-coming LB from Parker I think we'll be hearing a lot more from this upcoming season.   "At 6'1 210, Gaines is a large and athletic linebacker who's going to bring a ton of talent to an already loaded defense. Parker especially has had a great track record of developing defensive talent over the last few years, and when you see the buzz currently circling Gaines online, they clearly have another star defender in the making."   Gaines has had a big offseason, picking up his first offer from Florida State a few weeks back. It'll be exciting keeping up with his recruitment; he definitely will have more calls heading his way.   Gaines is definitely a name to watch here in 2026. Parker's defense is going to be in great hands with him this fall.     [player_tooltip player_id='2207238' first='Royce' last='Trantham'] is a TE/DT from Alexandria who recently popped up on our radar and really impressed.   "At DL, Trantham uses his length and athleticism to fly and power through blockers to get to the ballcarrier every snap. He's explosive off the line, plays with impressive leverage and speed, and can easily work his way around offensive linemen, making him an every-down threat on the line of scrimmage.   At TE, Trantham is a terrific blocker who opens up tons of space for his teammates to capitalize on in the run game. He's strong, explodes off the snap, and can pave the way by driving back DL/LBs several yards away from the ballcarrier. I'm not sure where he's projected to play at the next level, but man, is he an impressive two-way player. I'm excited to see what's ahead for him."   Trantham has found a ton of success with his recruitment this month, picking up new offers from Jacksonville State, Samford, and UT Martin!   Trantham put together some really impressive film this past season. He's heading into a big junior year this fall, and there's a ton to be excited for with him. We're all going to have to keep watch.      [player_tooltip player_id='2207264' first='Kaleb' last='Lowe'] is a talented DL/EDGE who made a ton of impact plays on Beauregard's front last season.   "Lowe is a disruptive force on the defensive front who can easily disengage any blocker he's lined up against. He's quick, powerful, has violent hands, and impressive bend he uses to beat the offensive line in several different ways. I really am impressed with how quickly he can make his way to either the QB or ball carrier. No matter what play is run, you can count on Lowe to be near the ball, making an impact.   Lowe is especially impressive as a pass rusher. He overwhelms offensive lines, constantly makes his way into the backfield, and generates a ridiculous amount of pressure and sacks. I think Lowe's versatility is his best attribute; he's an every-down force on the DL you have to watch out for as an opposing offense."   In the last few weeks, Lowe has picked up two offers from Alabama State and North Alabama!   I think we're going to see Lowe take off this upcoming fall. He's a really talented defender with a big season ahead. Take a look at his film below:      [player_tooltip player_id='2207306' first='Sawyer' last='Pearson'] is a talented up-and-coming OL from Spain Park who's been getting noticed the last few weeks.   "Pearson is a large, physical offensive tackle from Spain Park who's already shown a ton of potential in limited snaps. Pearson has impressive mobility, strength, and leverage as a run blocker and can open up huge lanes for his teammates to work with on the ground.   With how well Spain Park has been at developing their offensive line the last few years, I think we're going to see Pearson's name and game take off this upcoming year. He's a talented player with a bright future ahead- just watch."   Pearson has recently added offers from MTSU and Jacksonville State, and with his talent, I'm sure there's more to come.   I think Pearson will have a breakout year for Spain Park's offense this upcoming fall. There's a ton to like with his game, see for yourself below:
