<p>In the last couple of weeks we have been taking a look at some of the top returning talent on both sides of the ball and at a variety of positions as they prepare for a sizzling season this fall.</p>

<p>We started looking at the offensive skill positions last week and then shifted gears to defense earlier this week, with the latest article taking a quick look at the top interception leaders once the dust settled on their sophomore season.</p>

<p>In this report we move to <em>Special Teams</em> and take a look at five of the most dangerous playmakers in the state and who also <em>led the class of 2028</em> in total returns (kick + punt) from last season.</p>

<p>And, not surprising, there are some familiar names from recent reports.</p>

<p>So, without further adieu, lets jump in and see who stepped up last fall:</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1656374' first='Bray' last='Witcher']</strong>, 5'10, 165, WR/DB/RET, <em>Maize South</em> - <strong><em>Numero Uno with 419 total return yards </em></strong>- up first is a standout three-way playmaker who makes things happen with his speed, next-level burst and athleticism. Besides being lethal returning kicks, he is a fearless punt returner who uses his quickness and open-field elusiveness to make big plays on special teams. On offense he is dangerous at multiple positions, coming out of the backfield or split wide, picking up 200+ APY and scored a TD. On defense he is a smothering defender who was also in on 34 tackles. This guy is going to be weaponized in all phases of the game for the high-flying <em>Maverick</em> attack this fall.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1590403' first='Braylen' last='Dold']<a href="https://prepredzone.com/player/braylen-dold/"></a> ,</strong> 5'11, 175, RB/DB/ATH, <em>Garden Plain</em> - <strong><em>#2 with 354 total return yards</em> </strong>- a familiar name as he was also mentioned in the interception article earlier. He is a 3-way baller who had an excellent sophomore year as a dangerous option in all aspects of the <em>Owl</em> attack. On defense, he had 39 tackles, four interceptions, two TFL and a fumble recovery. On offense he was fast and elusive, rushing for 644 yards and averaging 9+ yards per carry. He also added 400+ yards receiving and returning kicks to give him 1,100+ APY and seven touchdowns. With his versatility as an all-purpose specialist, he is getting ready to bring the fireworks this fall.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2179187' first='Landon' last='Martinez']</strong>, 5'11, 165, DB/WR/ATH, <em>Buhler</em> - <strong><em>#3 with 306 total return yards</em></strong> - he is another baller who is showing up in multiple articles and is coming off an excellent sophomore season. He followed up on his breakout year with a strong off-season lifting and working on speed and explosiveness, while excelling in 7v7 with the <em>Kansas Colts</em>. On defense last fall he had 33 tackles to go along with four interceptions. On offense he was a dynamic playmaker catching 13 passes for 400 yards, averaging an impressive 30+ yards per catch and scored five TDs in nine games. He also added 300+ return yards, averaging 33+ yards a return. This guy is going to blow it up this fall.</p>

<p><strong><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1433331' first='Spencer' last='Crumrine']</strong></strong>, 5'10, 170, WR/ATH, <em>Valley Center</em> - <strong><em>#4 with 302 total return yards</em></strong> - next up is another familiar name who has been a starter since his freshman season when he caught 32 passes for 613 yards, averaged 20 yards a reception and accounted for 10 total TDs. This past fall he stepped up with an even bigger season, piling up 50 receptions for 700+ yards and seven TD's, and had 300+ return yards to give him 1,000+ APY in only 9 games. He has had a busy off-season playing other sports and hitting the camp-combine circuit and recently blazed his way to a 4.48 forty at the <em>Top Prospect</em> camp. Get your popcorn handy, he is going to put on a show this fall.</p>

<p><strong><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2087631' first='Chaylen' last='Bodney']</strong><a href="https://prepredzone.com/player/chaylen-bodney/"></a> </strong>, 5'11, 185, ATH, <em>Heights</em>, - <strong><em>#5 with 274 total return yards</em></strong> - and last but certainly not least and occupying the fifth spot in this report is a versatile athlete who busted out of the gates in his sophomore season, carrying the ball 38 times for 267 yards and six TD's, caught 29 passes for 492 yards and five scores and even fired a 49-yard TD pass. He was also a major threat as a return man, showing great burst and lateral quickness in the open field on his way to 274 yards in returns, to give him 1,100+ APYs and 14 total TD's. He has been powerlifting and running track this spring. Good luck tackling this guy when the season rolls around.</p>
