Heck saw action on both sides of the trench as a Sioux City West sophomore in 2025. On defense, he chipped in five tackles, four of which were solo. Heck added a tackle for loss and a sack. He also flashed potential on the offensive front, as we can witness when watching his 10th-grade highlight video. On the D-Line, he is fast off of the snap operating from the interior. That early engagements lead to a leverage advantage he can then exploit thanks to his strength and active hands. Heck is slick in space, smoothly moving around his size with fluid footwork, which shines through on the O-Line, too. On that side of the ball, he mauls guys in close quarters and is agile enough to pick them off in space as he climbs levels. Heck started his varsity career on solid ground with a chance to build upon it. He's one to watch in 2026, no doubt about it.

Keller earned varsity reps at Waterloo East as a sophomore in 2025. That he did so on both sides of the ball provides optimism that he can increase his role this coming campaign with special teams' work a likely area to make an impact. There's not a lot of film on his Hudl page, but what is there tells a story of what he could potentially become with two years of prep ball ahead of him. The footage appears to be of him delivering big plays on the non-varsity level. On defense, he's a hard-hitting safety capable of getting downhill quickly in supporting the run or displaying fluid actions and speed in coverage. Keller also threatens the opponent when the ball his in his hands. He mixes speed with elusiveness and determination in gaining yardage. If Keller is provided an opportunity to impact the varsity in the fall, he could break out in a big way.

I last wrote a Robins' evaluation about 11 months ago following his freshman season of 2024 at Hinton. It was time I caught up with his exploits as a 10th-grader last season. Statistically, he impacted the action on both sides of the ball. On defense, the linebacker posted 40.0 tackles, 33 of which were of the solo variety. Robins rushed for 321 yards (9.2 YPC) and one touchdown. He caught five passes for 57 yards and a score. The versatile athlete provides evidence as to how he succeeds between the lines during his sophomore highlight video. Robins gets downhill in a hurry as a running back. He makes quick initial decisions when first taking the handoff. They usually involved him reading his blocks well and finding the most advantageous hole to run through. There's an extra gear when the traffic is cleared and some wiggle in space. It's a set of abilities and skill that work well on defense, too. Robins plays with physicality and a high motor on that side of the ball. He gets downhill in a hurry and delivers impact upon arrival.

Goosmann found ways to contribute in all three phases as a Lawton-Bronson sophomore in 2025. An all-around athletic prospect, he hauled in 22 balls for 273 yards and three touchdowns, adding 114 yards (6.7 YPC) and a score on the ground. Goosmann chipped in a solo tackle and an interception on defense. He returned 18 kickoffs, which makes sense when you consider his abilities with the ball in his hands. We witness them when viewing his 10th-grade highlight video. The first clip has him running a quick slant in the red zone, using his body to disrupt the defender and displaying keen concentration in bringing in the TD grab. Goosmann rips off clean, crisp routes to beat opponents. He also flashes elusiveness when he gets the ball in space, making guys miss before bursting into the clear. Goosmann is one to watch in 2026 and beyond as his projectable frame and skill set continue filling out.

Interstate 35 leaned heavily on Currie during his sophomore campaign of 2025. The running back carried the ball 75 times for 516 yards (6.9 YPC) and four touchdowns. His lone catch picked up 16 yards. Five of his six tackles were solo stops, and he intercepted a pair of passes. Currie also averaged 20.0 yards on a trio of kick returns. The 10th-grade highlight video backs what we see from the statistics. Currie is a well-rounded athlete with the potential to develop for the next level at multiple positions. The film opens with his 16-yard reception, where he runs a route from the backfield down the field and delivers an acrobatic, one-handed grab. It looked like a guy that should see more throws come his way. A patient running back that does well in allowing his blocks to set up, Currie flows along with the action and takes what the defense gives him. There's burst and another gear once in the clear. Currie's frame has plenty of room to fill out and add strength without the loss of the speed and agility that already make him effective.
