PRZMI Exposure series: Running backs

The Hastings running back was excellent in individual drills and took the things coached straight to the field. He was very decisive in his cuts and making people miss all day in tight spaces. Jonah also showed his versatility as a back making multiple catches and quickly bursting up field. I had suspected Jonah would test well and he was better than advertised. He is absolutely built to tote the rock 20 plus times a game. With his solid build and light feet he was hard to miss during individual drills. Kiernan showed an ornate ability to stay poised until he saw his chance and showed good burst squaring his shoulders and getting up field. Kiernan also showed good hands catching the ball out of the backfield. Kason is a big bodied back that was very light on his feet during individual drills. Kason tested out very well and also took it to the field during the one on one portion of the camp. The Reed City product made multiple sharp cuts which sent defenders completely out of position to make a play. The big bodied Reed City running back was very impressive during individual drills. He made very sharp cuts and showed very light feet for a kid his size. I was also very impressed with Kasons mobility during drills verse linebackers. He regularly sent defenders out of position with a very shifty jump cut. Khari came to play Saturday and it didn't take long to take notice. The sturdy build Martin Luther King running back showed a ton of versatility as a back and as a solid pass catching threat out of the backfield. I was very impressed with Khari's ability to shake defenders in close quarters and get the edge and run away from defenders. I was impressed with joeys work during individual drills. The well built Romeo back moved well in drills and showed good choppy feet during cone work. Joey also held his own during one on one work and showed good burst for a big back. He did a nice job showing a shifty run style while also staying true to his solid frame.
