PRZMI Exposure series: Defensive Back Standouts

Julian showed great feet and fluid hip movement during the drills portion of camp. But what really turned heads was his work during one on one competition. Julian lined up every rep and locked down anyone who dared line up across from him. He never panicked when a wide receiver would gain a bit of separation. He was able to recover quickly get back in phase and make a play on the ball. I am really looking forward to this 2028 standout's development moving forward. Brandon displayed quick burst coming out of breaks and excellent change of direction during cone drills and other drills defensive backs were put through. Brandon made a lot of people take notice during the one on one's portion of the camp. He played excellent trail position defense when a wide receiver was able to get by him and played his keys very well. Brandon never gives up on a play and batted multiple balls away. I have heard a lot of good things about christian as a wide receiver, but he worked out with the defensive backs and had a stellar day on that side of the ball. Christian was one of the smoother over all athletes that I watched. He has excellent burst and took excellent angles during one on one drills. Christian did an excellent job turning his hips and running in phase with wide receivers. But my favorite thing I saw from christian was his ability to take coaching and implement it immediately on the next rep. He was very good during individual drills. Taking all the coaching in and applying it to every rep. OBrian showed quick choppy feet and good burst coming out of his breaks. He showed a very smooth back pedal and was able to flip his hips and run with out slowing down. During the one on one portion OBrian lined up from upperclassman and held his own more times than not. On one occasion a wide receiver made an excellent catch. This did not phase OBrian at all. He quickly forgot about it and jumped back in on his next rep and won his battle. Brayden showed a very competitive edge all day long. Brayden stayed very locked in and tested well. He was excellent in the drill portion of the day. I really liked Braydens ability to recover when a receiver would get a step on him. Brayden also does an excellent job of reading routs and staying in a good defensive posture to react on the ball. I expect Brayden to have a solid summer and will be a player I will be keeping an eye on this fall.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
